Chris Sale in his early days 😮‍💨 From his BA scouting report in 2011: “Sale has the stuff and lanky build to be a facsimile of future Hall of Famer Randy Johnson, throwing three plus pitches from a low three-quarters delivery.“

Light scrimmage work here from Benton Hickman (‘25, AZ). Up to 92 in this look w/ the FB. Landed a few of his SWs in the mid-upper 70s and mixed in some developing low 80s CHs. One of the more intriguing pitching prospects in the state because of the low release traits to his athletic operation along with his ability to spin it. #Arizona commit. Brophy Prep Baseball

Extended look @ Hynes. Starter traits to the delivery + stuff. Athletic/elastic mover. Whippy arm to a low release. Relaxed + repeats. T94 w/ his running 4S. Shows confidence in the SL, landing it vs. both handed hitters and can turn over a really strong CH. Perfect Game Draft CPBL

OMG SO BEAUTIFUL!!! Seokjin recording his part “SWIM, SWIM” his voice is really a wonder of the world Without music, with just light instrument it sounds so beautiful. I think he is singing in low register? His low notes are even sexier than high notes

‘24 RHP Kepler Lively (Kepler Lively; CCHS Baseball) showcased a quality three-pitch mix during his bullpen. FB: 82-84, 84.5 (18 in. avg. IVB) CB: 72-75 (late bite) CH: 77-78 (16 in. avg. of HZM➡️) Lean 6-2, 150-pounds w/ projection. Easy, low-effort intent to delivery. Good one to follow in the 2024 class in AL. #ALFallGames23 || @PBR_Uncommitted

When LeBron praised AD by saying he is more gifted than Kyrie: “AD is more gifted than Kyrie, you add 7-8 inches of height and his ability to dribble, shoot, i mean all 3 facets of the game: three pointers, mid range and low post. His defensive prowess is uncanny.” UNICORN

Tread OG Eric Sapp went from sitting 90-91 in games to averaging 95.5 T97 in a bullpen 🤯 We changed his first move to improve the timing of the arm, capturing a bit more momentum from the arm swing. 💪 PC: Drew Hall #TreadFam

Brewers DSL prospect Alexander Mercedes has our attention 👀 Mercedes is a lean and projectable 6-foot-5 and 200 pounds, using an athletic delivery to deal low-90s fastballs and high-spin curveballs in high 70s. Facing the Rays on July 16, Mercedes came out of the bullpen and fired three hitless frames with four strikeouts and one walk. For more Dominican Summer League standouts and coverage:

Hey, a Jack Choate sighting! The 2022 ninth-rounder is a big boy on the mound. He is not known for his velocity but has tons of deception with his frame, low arm slot, and a couple of good secondaries. The changeup particularly looked great.

Parker Collier - Uncom. RHP Parker is an extremely athletic and compact RHP with serious arm talent. Has been inconsistent in the past, however, is starting to find his stride. FB sits in the low 90s, and he has 2 distinct, devastating breaking balls. Also throws a good CH. 1/2

Twenty-three years ago today, Randy Johnson was unstoppable in his #WorldSeries debut. The Arizona Diamondbacks ace struck out 11 as he fired a complete-game shutout, his first of three victories in the series.

Adam Galdoni (formerly McKendree U), showcased a high vert FB in the low 90's, averaging 21" VB. He also showed a slider in the upper 70's, a change that averaged nearly 20" of deviation from his FB at 2.6" VB, 9.5" HB, and a sinker in the low 90's. Intriguing stuff when everything clicks for the 6'5" 220lb'er. Adam Galdoni
