An allegedly obscene video purportedly showing a serving Karnataka DGP in a compromising position inside his office has triggered a major institutional crisis and led to his suspension. K Ramachandra Rao, Director General of Police (Civil Rights Enforcement), was suspended after the video went viral on social media, prompting Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to order an immediate probe and stress that no rank is above accountability. This incident raises serious concerns about the sincerity of the peace the FCT Minister claims to have brought to Rivers State, as his supporters continue to launch violent attacks against those who stand with the Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara.
