janet jackson, escapade (american music awards)

So cvnty she didn’t need a mic

This is what you get with rehearsal and precision choreography come into play

This was the same year Paula Abdul was performing. Paula’s performance was better! 🔥

Janet > madonna

@blaqueerflow I had forgotten that you either danced and lip synched to your song or you actually sang your song live but the dancers did all the foot work while you sang. Janet used to lip synch a lot it’s obvious in this clip but her performance is great nevertheless,…

just the escapade intro gets me going

choreo is stunning

Amazing! No one performs like this today.

Precision

Go Janet! 👏

Favorite video, song and artist of all time!!!

@bbgunangel Timeless

My favorite Janet era. This was a new song at the time and hadn’t played on the radio yet.

I would have been losing my mind watching this in real time

that’s a very old choreo right there

@woliverjr1 #theblueprint

It really is a stupid song. SMDH

She had a good night just like anyone else that night!

My young ass crushed so hard on this Janet back then. So damn beautiful.

What year was this? I'm guessing '90 or '91.

@janetjackson had so much gawddamn energy. It was unbelievable 😍🤣

Better than Micheal
