Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Revanth Reddy reiterated that the State Government is committed to extending all necessary support to companies seeking to invest in #Hyderabad. He noted that several leading life sciences companies have already established Global Capability Centres (GCCs) in the city, further strengthening its position as a premier investment destination. * On the sidelines of #BioAsia2026 on Tuesday, the Chief Minister, along with Industries Minister Shri Sridhar Babu Duddilla, met with top executives and representatives of leading global life sciences companies to discuss investment opportunities and expansion plans. * Building on this momentum, the Chief Minister proposed the development of a dedicated GCC zone within #BharatFutureCity, with a special emphasis on establishing innovation centres for global life sciences companies. Details of Investments Announced: * Opella Healthcare - The global consumer healthcare company, spun off from Sanofi and headquartered in France, is expanding its GCC operations in Hyderabad with a 42,000 sq. ft. facility. The expansion is expected to generate up to 500 jobs over the next year. * Vaksindo Animal Health Pvt. Ltd - A division of JAPFA, the company is establishing a state-of-the-art BSL-3 vaccine manufacturing facility in Genome Valley. The facility will focus on producing vaccines for poultry, cattle, swine, and aquaculture. * Tredence Inc. - The AI and data science company is launching its Hyderabad operations as a dedicated innovation hub focused on AI-driven healthcare and life sciences analytics. From small FPVs to large UAVs, millions of unmanned systems are set to be inducted into the Indian armed forces in the next 5 years. 🇮🇳 Details- 🔽 The Indian Army sits at the centre of this shift. Over 1,00,000 drone operatives have already been trained & are being equipped with FPV strike drones, swarm systems, loitering munitions & long range UAVs. Dedicated Shaktibaan Regiments will anchor large scale unmanned warfare, while Ashni platoons are being embedded across 385 infantry battalions. light commando forces like Bhairav will also employ unmanned systems for ISR, targeting & precision strike. - Indian Air force is already doing mass induction of unmanned platforms for long range ISR, deep strike, ew & special missions, integrating UAVs into both peacetime surveillance & high intensity conflict situations. - Indian Navy is also rapidly transitioning towards unmanned ops across the maritime domain, with large numbers of airborne, surface & underwater unmanned systems planned for maritime surveillance, ASW, mine countermeasures & strike support roles. - The Indian Coast Guard will increasingly depend on unmanned systems for persistent maritime domain awareness, EEZ monitoring, coastal security & search & rescue missions. Apart from this, paramilitary & central armed police forces under the Ministry of Home Affairs are also set to induct unmanned systems at scale for border surveillance, CI, internal security, convoy protection & urban ops needs. Lip-Bu Tan with Jim Cramer on Mad Money Key Updates: 18A Execution Intel’s 18A yield is improving around 7–8% per month, which Tan described as the industry-standard scale-up rate. Defect-density targets were also reached ahead of year-end, supporting confidence in Panther Lake volume shipments. Foundry Customer Momentum Tan said outside customers are now knocking on Intel’s door after seeing the progress on 18A yield and defect density. He also said Intel has multiple customers engaged on 14A, with a 0.5 PDK already available. 14A Roadmap For 14A, Intel is targeting risk production in 2028 and volume production in 2029, putting it on an equal timeline with TSMC. EMIB / Advanced Packaging EMIB (which he called the best) and advanced packaging may be much bigger than expected …potentially billions, not just hundreds of millions. Some customers are even prepaying to help Intel secure tight supply-chain materials. Customer Demand Demand is accelerating too. Tan said one customer wanted to triple its forecast, but Intel needs a few quarters to catch up. Government Support Tan also said he updates President Trump and Howard Lutnick from time to time, and credited their support for understanding the strategic importance of U.S.-based semiconductor R&D, manufacturing, and capacity. Bottom line: The market can argue over candles. But the actual Intel story is execution, customers, packaging demand, and U.S. strategic backing all moving in the same direction. NordSpace is pleased to announce a groundbreaking Canada-Germany R&D collaboration and funding towards medium-lift rocket engine development with Fraunhofer ILT, receiving advisory services and up to $335,000 from the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP). This collaboration will support a research and development project that will advance our large format multi-material additive manufacturing capabilities for medium-lift rocket engines. This collaboration between NordSpace, the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology, and SWMS (Systemtechnik Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH) builds upon the recent launch of our Advanced Manufacturing for Aerospace Lab (AMA Lab), and marks an important step toward our ongoing efforts to advance orbital launch vehicles that are fully scalable from light to medium-lift payload capacities. NordSpace's Tundra and Tundra+ light lift vehicles, capable of 500 kg and 1,100 kg to LEO respectively, are being designed specifically to scale to the medium-lift Titan vehicle (5,000 kg+ to LEO) by the early 2030s. This advanced manufacturing project for space propulsion harnesses breakthrough methods such as large volume, high-speed, high-resolution, multi-metal deposition to optimize rocket engine design, fabrication, and testing. NordSpace will partner with Fraunhofer ILT – the German research institute that has developed the world-leading EHLA laser-based high-speed additive manufacturing capability, and SWMS – the German company that has developed the CAESA software for AI-powered advanced manufacturing path planning optimization. This collaborative project will support NordSpace in developing next-generation, large-scale, regeneratively cooled liquid engines, validated through rigorous hot-fire test campaigns and positioned for flight qualification and commercial scale-up.​​ This announcement builds on NordSpace’s AMA Lab launched earlier this year with Ontario Centre of Innovation support and another advanced manufacturing project that received funding from the Canadian Space Agency. The AMA Lab has already accelerated the design of our 3D-printed Hadfield engines and enhanced development cycles through AI-driven design methodologies and direct validation at our test range. Now, this new Canada-Germany collaborative R&D project will go further into efficient production methods for these advanced rocket engines. We will also present updates on this initiative at the Canadian Space Launch Conference on May 5, 2026 in Ottawa.
