Japanese voice acting is undefeated

It’s kinda hard to believe that Western voice actors still have that much confidence and see themselves on the same level as Japanese VAs. Not saying they’re completely wrong either, but it’s also because a lot of Western gamers still choose English dubs that feel kinda lifeless over Japanese dubs that have way more emotion and feel alive.

One for all

It’s really not about the screams, it’s about how they control the emotion in the little scenes too!

That's why sub is better than dub. 😁

My Hero Academia - Episode 49

then people wonder why sub is better then dub

And then we have english voice "actors" that sound like weathercasters and native english speakers praise them, like they are preaching gospel. This right here, on the other hand was pure cinema.

And this is why people should hate more than just "dubs". Do you think declaring another language to be the "original" diminishes all the talent and skill Japanese seiyuu possess? We should explicitly demand even non-Japanese animated media be voice acted in Japanese only.

Ironically I watch all anime subbed, and then rewatch it dubbed.

Incredible 👏👏👏

This. This is why English dubbed/voice acting is terrible compared to the originals.

The only dubbed Anime that is good is Dragonball z

chills everytime

i feel your energy bro..,😄😄

JP VA is another level.

And he cried. We all cried.

Damn🔥

The thing is, EN has had it's glory in VA work, but it's so few and far between that it really doesn't matter in comparison versus JP's constantly high bar. Literally one of the best EN VA work in an IP is Boondocks. Which uses all AAA talent from entertainment damn-near.

Nah, it's cringe

chills everytime

Woooow

I mean I get it. Very incredible. So should I Japanese or read subs while watching at the same time. I still think dub is better for me. My opinion

Realllll imagine hearing Banki early in the morning

Dude got so into it that he broke out in a sweat.
