For years and years, John Leguizamo claimed to be half Puerto Rican. After he was honored at the Puerto Rican Day parade in 2011 and told reporters his father was from Aguadilla, his father publicly contradicted him, saying the family is Colombian and has no connection to Puerto Rico. But Leguizamo still claimed to have family in Puerto Rico during a 2017 talk show appearance. The truth of his family history was confirmed in a 2022 episode of Finding Your Roots. He claimed that he had believed his family had connections to Puerto Rico because there is a barrio there with his surname. But that story doesn’t explain the very specific untrue claims he’s made about his family over the years. All this time he’s been whining about other actors not matching the ethnicity of the roles while lying about his own ethnicity. He also appears to have lied about his age throughout his career, making himself 4 years younger.

Matt Damon Shares His Family’s Non-Negotiable Tradition In a recent People interview, Matt Damon, 55, says family dinners remain a firm “non-negotiable” in his household even as his four daughters get older. The The Odyssey star shares Alexia (27), Isabella (20), Gia (17), and Stella (15) with his wife Luciana. “We have family dinner every night, and that’s non-negotiable, and it’s always been that way,” Damon shared. He noted that they’re working on being more mindful and present: “We’re trying to be mindful of holding onto what we can… the only way to really do it is to really be there and be in it.” (Video: AI) A great reminder that quality time with family is ultimately what matters most.
