To help a reactive dog progress in a positive direction you have to first cultivate a relationship of trust, and understanding. To help guide them you have to be able to effectively communicate with them because confusion is the death of a conversation. I did not suppress this dog l uplifted him. I did not ask him to come up to my level, I got down on his, and we will come up together. He still has a ways to go, but I am determined to help him have a happy ending as long as it takes.
