Everybody knows that I personally don’t really like VDM. I disagree with him on many things, and I have never been one to hide my opinions about him. However, I have also been following his activities closely, and it would be dishonest to deny the impact he is having in Nigeria today. Whether you like him or not, VDM has managed to become a significant voice in different spheres of our society. He has brought certain issues to the public consciousness, challenged institutions and individuals, and, in his own unconventional way, contributed to conversations that many people would rather avoid. You don’t have to like a person to acknowledge their impact. And honestly, as much as I may not like VDM personally, I cannot help but respect the influence and relevance he has built for himself. Credit where credit is due. 🇳🇬
