I don't have the words to describe how much of a stone cold classic this is. Unfortunately, the mindset the song is criticizing is as prevalent today as it ever was.

Their album Grippe got me through hard times when I was 18

Green Line Delayed was another sweet spot on this LP. Prescient for its time in DC and leading the charge in smart activist indie rock. Great band.

First heard this song a few years ago on our local Public access radios Saturday night punk show. Almost had to pull over because of the effect it had on me. Such a powerful, incredible song.

Saw them open for Stone Temple Pilots around the same time. They played loud. I loved it

Ha, Adam Pfahler used to own the video store on Valencia in the Mission SF we used to go to every Friday night. Haven’t heard Jawbox in yonks.
