JAW-DROPPING We learned today that NDP-Liberals delaying election date to secure pensions for their defeated MPs can cost $42 MILLION. No wonder the NDP made this part of their Coalition deal. They get guaranteed pensions after losing, Canadians get stuck with the bill.

The primary beneficiary of this change would be Conservative MPs, 32 of whom won their seats for the first time in 2019. The second largest number of MPs to benefit are 22 Liberals. The NDP have 6 MPs elected in 2019, and the Bloc Québécois have 20.
