Maybe a tighter budget encourages more imagination. Huge congratulations to both JAXA and NASA.

We've built a full-scale deployable aerobrake unit showcasing technology that uses planetary atmospheres to slow spacecraft, saving significant mass and cost and enabling heavy cargo delivery from the Moon, to Mars, and point-to-point missions on Earth. Lighter and larger than conventional aeroshells, it deploys in space and stows for launch, making it easily configurable to many different vehicles.

Rachel Starr shared that some of her favorite experiences in the advlt entertainment industry were working with Johnny Sins and Johnny Castle, noting that they both brought completely different styles and energy to their performances. She also mentioned Kieran Lee as another example of a performer with a distinct approach, and added that the person she felt the most chemistry with and enjoyed working with the most was Mike Stefano. “They are two totally different performers. It’s hard to compare them because they are completely different, their styles are just widely different.”

🚨WHAT ARE THE DRAGONS AT SPACEX? At SpaceX, "Dragons" aren't just mythical—they're cutting-edge spacecraft that are redefining space travel and pushing SpaceX to DRAGONLORD valuation levels. Cargo Dragon: - First Launched: 2010. - Purpose: Designed to deliver supplies, experiments, and equipment to the International Space Station (ISS). - Features: Can carry up to 6,000 kg of cargo. It's equipped with Draco thrusters for precise orbital maneuvers and splashdown landings in the ocean. - Notable Missions: Over 30 successful missions, including the first commercial spacecraft to dock with the ISS. Crew Dragon: - First Launched: 2020. - Purpose: Transports astronauts to and from the ISS. It’s also used for missions like Polaris Dawn, set to achieve the world's first commercial spacewalk. - Features: Can carry up to 7 astronauts. It’s equipped with SuperDraco engines for emergency escape during launch and a touchscreen control interface inspired by sci-fi tech. - Safety: The only crewed spacecraft currently in operation that can be reused for multiple missions, ensuring both efficiency and safety. Dragon 2: - Advancements: Both Cargo and Crew Dragon are part of the Dragon 2 line, with enhanced safety features, increased payload capacity, and improved reusability. - Autonomous Docking: Capable of autonomously docking with the ISS, reducing the need for manual control. These Dragons are the backbone of SpaceX’s missions, embodying innovation and the push towards making life multiplanetary. They're not just spacecraft—they're a symbol of the future. For the first time since 1972, astronauts are on their way to the moon. NASA's Artemis 2 mission successfully launched last night and will go on a 10 day mission, though they won't land on the moon this time, instead looping around it and then back to Earth. This mission is part of NASA's preparations for deep-space missions - with landings on the surface and even a lunar base being planned in the coming years. David Harper reports.
