Exactly. D Wade drew fouls. Mostly cause they had no other way to stop him SGA is flopping 80% of the time, drawing fouls 20% of the time

To me it’s all the same. Foul calling was never supposed to be integral in the game. It was actually to keep the game fair. Getting to the line is not a skill. It’s the gateway to flopping

Then why come at Shai if he draws the fouls consistently.. he gets touched

He's 100% right

Ball knowers watched prior decades of basketball and saw a more enjoyable product than this.

Such a tortured justification. "Theres a difference between stealing $100 and stealing $110. Stealing $100 is just like a natural part of life but stealing $110 is a huge societal problem" Even funnier because he does quite a bit of flopping, but thinks its just drawing fouls.

Anthony Edwards drives thru contact/doesn’t shy away from contact and draws fouls. SGA falls down and flops like a fish the minute someone breathes on him. That’s the difference

Football (not gridiron) frowns on simulation to win a foul or penalty, which is punished with a yellow card, it's a zero tolerance thing. In basketball, drawing fouls and flopping are two sides of the same coin, you can't excuse one and blame the other, neither should be allowed.

I wish OKC fans could think about this for a second

Difference between Shai and Luka

Tell it like it is, Jaylen Brown!!☘️7🏆

Shai hooks his arm under the defenders arm from an angle where the refs cant see, then flails. That not flopping or drawing the foul. That's cheating!

Does he talk about 3-1 series leads or

You can be fouled and still flop. Chet was being shoved by LBJ last series, a clear offensive foul but Chet embellished what occurred further by snapping his neck backwards looking as if he was just shot. This is the blatant stuff OKC does. It’s unethical to the game.

The problem is that we’ve accepted that “drawing a foul” is part of the game. Translation: you’re baiting the other team into breaking the rules. In other words, by flopping, you’ve framed them.

my issue with okc isn't just the flopping. i tolerate flopping to an extent. the issue really is the whole dirty play system of okc. its part of a whole team gameplan. like with luka we don't get mad at the flopping we get mad that he has the audacity to complain after the flop.

Don't hit the deck ever. Try to score through contact. That's all we ask.

I love this right here

Either you really get fouled or you don’t there is no in between that’s the point period 💯

Hints why nobody complains about jimmy butler and everyone complains about shai he just explained that perfectly

Pathetic, embassaing look for Jaylen. Just go enjoy Cancun!

Everybody know that JB is lowkey thinking to say or almost slip out to say "Whoever flop the best, going to win MVP/CHAMPION"

Just stop trying to deceive the refs and just play basketball

foul baiting vs flopping.

aint listening to dude who elbowing people in the face 🤣 this man was just happy for having his '94 pippen season instead of winning a chip

I detect no lies

There is literally no explanation of the difference. Down right comedy gold.

Boi back tracking Adam the demon silver must have told him he gone get him out the league if he keep it up

It's niggas been watching the game longer than he's been alive but yea tell ppl they don't know what they looking at 😒

Horrible take 🤦🏻♂️ is there a difference yes. Should the NBA reward “drawing fouls”? Absolutely not. The game is about putting the ball in the basket for entertainment.
