The North Star group notoriously was over Prince's estate as they battled Jay-Z/ Roc Nation/ Tidal and accused them of illegally streaming his music on the platform after Prince's death. Prince from the beginning of his career to the time of his death maintained he did not want the industry to control his music. Yet Jay-z claims Prince gave him exclusive rights to stream his music on tidal when in fact it was just 1 album. Londell has represented artists such as Kanye West, Michael Jackson, Prince and many more. His company still manages Prince's estate.
