And then you’ll actually know what you’re doing.

Then you justify the upgrade with more chickens then You think well I’ll get a rooster to protect the girls a little and keep order. Then you think oh I’ll let the broody hen hatch a couple of her eggs. Then you think I better extend my coop and the cycle continues.

You can’t create a functional society out of dysfunctional individuals. You have to make people functional first—only then can the larger system work.
