BAIER: I wonder as a catholic how you consider this picture which a lot of people took as the president posting a picture of himself as Jesus? VANCE: I think the president was posting a joke and, of course, he took it down because he recognized that a lot of people weren't understanding his humor in that case

Q: President Trump tweeted that AI photo of him [as Jesus]. I'm a Christian. It made me upset. I don't know how he thought he was a doctor. It rubs me the wrong way. What do you think? JD Vance: The President didn't mean any offense. He loves Christians. Did Donald Trump mean to post a meme of himself as God? No. The President has a good sense of humor. He did not mean to mock or mimic God. That's just not who he is.

🇺🇸 Vance just had to explain Trump’s Jesus meme to a Christian who actually took it personally. On Bryce Crawford’s show, Crawford said he is a Christian and it upset him when Trump posted that AI photo of himself as Jesus. Vance’s answer: “Did Donald Trump mean to post a meme of himself as God? No.” That was his defense. Writer: Lynn

Tucker Carlson doubles down on his support for JD Vance and admits he “aggressively advocated” for him to be Trump’s VP because he has always aligned with him. He then says Trump and Marco Rubio are beholden to Israel, while Vance isn’t like that. It all makes sense now.

María Corina Machado: We are absolutely grateful to President Trump, his administration, and the people of the United States. It took a lot of courage to do what he did. He did it not only on behalf of the American people, but because he cares for the people of Venezuela.

JD Vance on Trump posting an AI image of himself as Jesus: Did Donald Trump mean to post a meme of himself as God? No. People will bring him stuff and say, "Hey, hey, look, isn’t this funny?" And then sometimes he’ll chuckle at it, and sometimes if he really thinks it’s funny, he’ll have somebody post it. He did not mean to mock or mimic God. That’s just not who he is. And then he saw people responded negatively to it. He took it down. Source: Bryce Crawford Podcast
