I don't doubt that he feels he's friends with Tucker and wants to honor that friendship. That wouldn't be a problem if JD weren't running for president. Then it would be a problem. There's no way the country will do well with such a snake having access to the president's ear. Didn't JD learn anything from the outcome for President Trump when he surrounded himself with vipers during his first term?
