Jeff Teague giving the real about NBA life

I think some people are missing it. Teague here is giving a kind example at that. For most who are pros/ pursuing that pro ball life from the age of 10, it’s over by 26 years old. And u have no skills. Sure you might of made a couple mill but…whip for u and your girl, kids, looked out for your parents, u got close to as much coming in as u do going out. It can get dark quick

Hahahaha come on this is so out of touch. Just bc they put the sad background music on the vid doesn’t make it tragic. Having at least a million dollars of nest egg while you try to figure out a career is such an ideal situation it’s insane

U didn’t comprehend a word he said.

Toss me $3 mill, I'll figure it out

nobody made only 3-4 mill that played 10 years in the nba lol

You’re taking it too literal.

It’s like a construction worker making 99% less and retire he’ll also say “damn what do I do next” lol athletes be weird man lol

NBA non vet Minimum is 1.1 mil. Play 10 years that’s 10 million dollars. If you made responsible choices over those 10 years, you’d have a nice cushion to figure out what you’re going to do next. Most people do not have that opportunity. This is out of touch as hell

You went to college… go finish w a teaching degree and be a basketball coach. You got a $1-3M dollars head start

Oh shut the fck up. You retire from NBA at what age? Fcking mid 30s with bags of money? I can't feel sorry for these millionaires retiring in their 30s.
