Denzel Washington’s epic monologue towards the end of Training Day was largely improvised on set. Director Antoine Fuqua was so blown away by his performance, he says he thinks he "forgot to yell cut”. He explains… “That’s Denzel. He was just in his zone. I mean, that was one of those moment...people talk about AI. Those are the moments where you go...it's a great tool. It's gonna be a great tool, I think...but the emotion, and the moment that an actor can bring - you can't predict that. That's something that's just inside of Denzel. And when that came out, I was just like - I hope I got it. I just turned to my operator - who was shaking- I looked over at the guy - I was like, “please tell me you got that.” Because that was the take. That was it. There was no other take - I mean, how do you tell an actor like that, that that wasn't good enough? …He walked over to me, and he just had this look in his eyes. I was like, “you good?” He said, “you good?” I said, “Yeah…” Some of that was in the script, but he flipped it the way he did it. "Putting cases on all you." He kind of added some things in there. And then he just went into a whole other zone with the whole King Kong thing- with Pelican Bay - Denzel started that. That was Denzel. That was him, man. He just kind of lit up, and I think I forgot to yell cut. I was just watching it, because everybody started walking away, and I'm just watching him, and then he lights a cigarette - and he's talking - and I'm just watching him. I think at some point he probably looked at me like, you going to cut? And I'm like, “oh yeah, yeah, cut.” He was still in it. That's the thing with Denzel. He was so Alonso…I'm just watching him for a while because I didn't know what else he was going to do. It was just so magical. And then I think he looked up at me and I was like, “Okay, cut, cut.”

260109 dpr ian talking about seonghwa’s Skin in his ig live 🥹🩶 “Have I seen the seonghwa video? Yeah!— fuckin— i love that shit oh my god By the way, speaking of, seonghwa sent me the video too when he dropped it, Skin And I was.. I was mesmerized! I was so blown away like he does it so much better than anyone that i’ve known and anyone that can do that And um I truly think it’s because… You know when I say, if one has like a bit of a mito in them but— you know like… I think the reason why I really resonate with seonghwa is because he has— he shares the same type of expression and darkness that I can relate to? And he transforms it in a way where he can— it really resonates. And you can see that it’s so raw, and it’s so real that… it just hits! Like… you know? And that’s why I like… applaud him you know? Because that is something that you should actually congratulate him on And yknow him getting to even the place he is you know? Like all props to that dude and he’s truly an artist, as I see it he’s really an artist, and um… If you haven’t, go check it out it’s, Seonghwa’s ‘Skin’ And yknow I just— yeah like— dude looks sexy as hell so, yeah **laughs** So you know… how can you not like it you know??? So yeah go please, please check it out and you guys out there, you guys do amazing and I know seonghwa has a lot of— a lot of good, good-hearted fans that support him yknow, when he’s going down and i’m sure there’s a lot of things that he goes through that he probably doesn’t tell you guys or anybody for that fact But um, that being said, ummm— with that being said, yknow I just wanted to thank you guys for just being there for him as well you know? Cos I think he does see these messages and he does— he sees the support, that’s why he’s able to do what he’s doing so… Yknow? Jared Kushner's best advice: "Constant refinement of association" Surround yourself with high-quality people in everything you do. Once you see what true excellence looks like, you become intolerant of mediocrity. When you have a friend group that consists of elite people, growth, discipline, & continuous improvement become the default. David Senra, of David Senra & David Senra . . . "The best piece of advice that I was ever given came from—one of the best pieces of advice I was ever given came from—Jared Kushner, who’s a good friend. I actually talked to him a few hours ago. And this is also what I’ve told you one of the first times we talked. That’s Ivanka’s husband, right? That is correct. It’s constant refinement of association. And Jared is one of these people where it’s like, he will tell you the truth if he likes you. Well, first of all, he wouldn’t spend time with you if he didn’t like you. But he says stuff to me that, if people heard it, they’d be like, “Damn.” Like, “That might even be rude.” It’s like, no, no, no—he’s a very direct person, but he’s saying that because I know he wants my best interest, and he wants me to do well. And he said—he’s like, “I benefited hugely from your podcast.” So his whole thing is like, he’s seen me in environments where he’s like, “These people are not good enough for you.” He’s just like—like, “You have built one of—” This is what he told me. He’s like, “I know all the elite people in the world. They all listen to your podcast.” And he’s pushed me on a lot of different things, in a very direct but truthful manner. And I think it’s really, really important."

Marshawn Lynch says he asked for Russell Wilson's phone number, but Russ called him from a blocked number “I had a situation. We were playing against Tennessee, and their secondary wasn't good. We were supposed to throw the ball for 500 yards or some shit like that. Russ didn't have the game that he wanted. After the game, I did pretty good, 2 tugs, 150 rushing, another 50 receiving” “I reached out to our player personnel dude and was like, ‘Hey man, let me get Russ' number. He said, Alright, I'll call you back.’ He called me back like, ‘Did you get a call?’ I'm like, ‘No.’ He was like, ‘Russ just said he called you.’ I'm like, ‘No, I got a call from a blocked number.’ He was like, ‘Oh, that's him.’ I don't know if he blocked it or how it worked. I just know I got a call from a blocked number” “So when I call back, I'm just like, ‘Hey bro, I'm calling you as a teammate. I'm telling you straight up, I'm calling you on some real shit.’ I think this was the first time that I actually tried to have a conversation with bro. ‘I know you didn't have the game that you wanted to have. That's what I'm here for. We got to be there for each other. I'm here for you. You here for me’” “His response to me was kind of like, ‘What the fuck...’ So I told him again, ‘No bro, I'm letting you know, I'm here for you. We gonna rock, you know what I mean.’ His response was the same. I mean, we on the same team, going for the same goal, and this was how you chose to respond to me”
