America should not be sending out hundreds of millions of dollars to international organizations to help them fight their enemies, especially when they are unwilling to fight for themselves. DWS: I think the sponsor of the amendment has shown pretty clear evidence that she has no idea what the NATO security investment program is actually funding. We are talking about funding that is provided to build infrastructure that takes care of our troops that are overseas.

Daskalakis: There is a program called Vaccines for Children. It is the safety-net program that gets vaccines to kids who are uninsured, underinsured, can’t afford them, or who are on Medicaid. Over 50% of kids in the U.S. get their vaccines through this program. If the ACIP says this vaccine should not be given to six-month-olds through 12-year-olds, the VFC won’t buy it — and that means those kids won’t get vaccines

Helen Joyce explains this best. I would just add, these parents have made a bet that their children will never realize it’s a mistake on their own accord. It’s inevitable that many of these children will detransition. When that happens, these parents are going to have to deal with incredibly resentful and fearful grown children, children who have to process what their parents did to them.

And for every dollar that gets spent on their primary care visits, on their vaccinations, on their at home care for the elderly, the federal government picks up $0.66. So who's going to pay for that? When you take out $888 billion out of Medicaid, what are you going to say to your constituents back home? Cuomo: But you're making an assumption, right? The budgeting process right now, Trump had said that he was going to leave the entitlements alone. Rep. Auchincloss: No. Medicaid cuts are in the budget resolution. They are coming this month, $888 billion of Medicaid cuts. And I think Mr. Sessions is going to vote for them. And that's 100,000 people in his home district.
