I wish I could say I was shocked by the failure to get an indictment against the sandwich thrower. But after everything we’ve seen from the DC District Court and the jury pool they pull from, it was predictable. These people were throwing the book at grandmothers who were invited into the Capitol on January 6, but refuse to charge a leftist bureaucrat for assaulting a police officer. There’s no justice to be found here. We should consider dismantling this court and moving it to Maryland.

Barry Loudermilk confirms that an undercover Metro police officer was instigating illegal activity on January 6 by urging protesters to enter the Capitol building. “We know that it is one of their officers and at one point he is encouraging, and it appears he’s encouraging, he’s definitely helping people climb the scaffolding, and he’s telling them ‘go, go, go,’” Loudermilk said during an interview with the Just the News. “Why is an officer encouraging people to climb the scaffolding and go into the Capitol? And secondly, why did the MPD Metropolitan Police support department decide to put undercover officers in the crowd? Was there intelligence that they had that was or was not passed on to the Capitol Police and what did the Capitol police do with that evidence, if they got it?”

I, along with many of my J6 brothers and sisters, was released from federal prison 1 year ago today. One month later I journeyed back to DC, back to our Capital hoping to find amongst other things a little peace within myself. January 6, 2021 was just one day. It took courage to show up, it took courage to stand. But to my once imprisoned J6 brothers and sisters I want to say the last 5 years was our real journey in courage as we took everything they threw at us for our love of country and survived. Wounded, struggling, healing? Of course. But still standing. Still in the fight. Still brave. Be proud. Love ya’ll. Bigo

I was shocked to find out today that the plaque honoring the officers who protected the U.S. Capitol, the Senators , the House members, and our staffs, on January 6, 2021 is sitting neglected in a back room. This plaque was ordered by a law we passed in 2022. The failure to display it as required in the 2022 law is an egregious insult to all those who defended the Capitol, all of those who were injured, defending the Capitol, and the five officers who died as a consequence of the attack on the Capitol. I'm working with my colleague from North Carolina, Thom Tillis, to introduce a bipartisan resolution to put this plaque up in the Senate wing of the Capitol until we can get full agreement from the House to display it as the 2022 law requires.
