JENNIFER’S BODY (2009) got sold as a Megan Fox sex-symbol vehicle when the movie was actually a horror-comedy about female friendship, jealousy, and rage. The marketing chased one audience while the film was trying to speak to another.

For Jennifer’s Body (2009), Megan Fox dropped nearly 15 lbs, reaching about 97 lbs. She also avoided sunlight for 4 months to keep her skin unnaturally pale. The physical transformation was part of selling a possessed, living-dead teenager — not glamour.
