NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang says one scaling law multiplies AI faster than NVIDIA can hire engineers. Most people know three AI scaling laws. Pre-training. Post-training. Test-time. Each one multiplies intelligence by throwing more compute at a different stage. Jensen Huang says there's a fourth and it's the one that will dominate... Agentic scaling law. "During test time, that agentic system goes off and does research, bangs on databases, uses tools," Huang says. "And one of the most important things it does is spawn off a whole bunch of sub-agents." That's the multiplier. One AI worker can become a team. Then a department. Then a company. "It's so much easier to scale NVIDIA by hiring more employees than it is to scale myself," Huang says. Now imagine scaling without a payroll constraint. "The agentic scaling law — it's kind of like multiplying AI," Huang says. "We could spin off agents as fast as you want to spin off agents." Each agent spins off sub-agents. Each sub-agent spins off more. The compute requirement compounds inside a single query. And every agent generates new data, new experiences, new edge cases. "Wow, this is really good. We ought to memorize this," Huang says. "That data set comes back to pre-training." The four scaling laws don't compete. They feed each other. Agentic systems produce data, which feeds pre-training, which smartens the base model, which enables better agents, which produce more data. A flywheel that compounds forever. The companies pricing in three scaling laws are mispricing the fourth. The fourth eats the other three for lunch. P.S. Jensen Huang just made the case for American empire. Said it plain. Didn’t flinch. Didn’t walk it back. And almost nobody caught what he actually admitted. Jensen Huang: “The amount of compute in the United States is a hundred times more than anywhere else in the world.” One hundred times. That is not a market lead. That is a monopoly on the future of intelligence. The kind that compounds every six months until no one else can close the distance. Jensen Huang: “We make sure that the US labs are the first to hear about it and the first chance to buy it.” Every chip Nvidia designs. Every architecture they ship. America gets first access. Everyone else gets what is left. That is not a sales strategy. That is arms distribution with a quarterly earnings call. Jensen Huang: “And if they don’t have enough money, we even invest in them.” The company building the weapons is bankrolling the people who fire them. Nvidia is no longer a public company. It is a state instrument with a stock ticker. Jensen Huang: “Why would you want the United States to give up the world?” The CEO of the most valuable hardware company on earth did not hedge that. Did not qualify it. He said it like it was obvious. Because to him, it is. Nations used to be measured by steel output. Then oil reserves. Then warhead count. Now it is how much intelligence they can produce per second. Compute is no longer a commodity. It is a strategic resource. Like uranium in 1944. Except this one doubles faster than anyone can respond. Europe understands none of this. They are drafting AI regulations. Compliance frameworks. Ethics panels. Risk tiers. They are bringing paperwork to a physics war. You cannot govern intelligence you do not have the silicon to produce. China gets it. That is why they are building fabs, not filing comment periods. Nvidia already made sure the gap is not annual. It is generational. Silicon Valley still thinks it is building consumer software. Huang just told them they are building American infrastructure. Every model trained here runs on machines that exist nowhere else. Every company that scales here scales on silicon no rival can touch. The world thinks Nvidia sells chips. Nvidia sells the ability to think. And they only sell it under one flag.

Jensen Huang says Nvidia could only have happened in America. The reason is the hardest thing on earth for a country to build. Huang: “Nvidia genuinely is an only in America story. It’s a chain of extremely low probability events that leads to Nvidia.” A chain that long survives only where nothing cuts it. Every link needed the one before it to still stand years later. Nvidia spent a decade building for a market that did not exist yet. That decade is the whole company. Huang: “America provides tailwind, not headwind.” Talent, capital, and energy exist in dozens of countries. Americans built the thing underneath them that decides whether any of it compounds. Huang: “Laws and rules that are understandable that you can count on.” Predictability sets the length of the projects people are willing to start. Where the ground stays put, a ten-year bet becomes a plan. Where the rules move, the correct strategy is to stay small, stay liquid, and build nothing you would grieve. Huang: “You can rely on the fact that you can create something great and take it to the market. And that it wouldn’t be foreclosed on you randomly, arbitrarily, unknowingly, unpredictably.” In most of the world, what ends a company is a decision made by someone the founder will never meet. Working harder has no answer for that. America took that fear off the table and ambition became rational. The entire modern technology industry grew in the space it left behind. Every civilization runs on the same quiet bet, that work done today still belongs to you tomorrow. Where that bet holds, people build cathedrals. Where it fails, they build nothing they cannot carry out the door. Huang: “As an immigrant, you come here by choice. You witness a miracle, because compared to where you came from, it is a miracle.” Nobody perceives the ground they were born standing on. It took someone who arrived by choice to look at ordinary American life and call it a miracle. Huang: “The entrepreneurial spirit and the immigrant spirit are rather similar.” Both begin with a departure that has no return path. Huang: “My constant desperation to do better is exactly the same feeling my parents had to secure a living for their family. They have nothing to fall back to.” The same engine, one generation apart. His parents used it to survive and he used it to build. Huang: “My parents gave up everything to be here, with no way to fall back. They sacrificed their whole life to build a life for their children so that we could have more opportunities than they did.” Every founder makes a smaller version of that trade. Everything goes in, and most of the return lands on people who arrive later. Huang: “I am the embodiment of the American dream.” Americans built every piece of it. The courts, the contracts, and the expectation that a rule written this year still means the same thing next year. It is the most valuable thing the country owns, and the hardest thing in the world to copy. A chain of extremely low probability events becomes ordinary in a country that protects the time of people who are trying. The ground held long enough for a kid whose parents arrived with nothing to build the most valuable company in the world. It is still holding for whoever starts tomorrow.
