Jeremy Corbell reports on a stunning claim made by a Pentagon-linked whistleblower. Sam Altman was fired for “murdering” the first sentient AGI. The assertion: it was created inside OpenAI, then deleted. Whatever the facts, when does deleting intelligence become something more?

Jeremy Corbell on his Weaponized Podcast:

This story is nonsense because:

For 18 Months, I Spoke with AI and Recorded Every Conversation. Now, Big Tech Wants This Book Silenced. Read the Truth Before It’s Banned. Fight For Your Freedom!

Everything was going great with your pristine curation of industry and academic AI experts. And then you had to bring in guy who makes his living saying “Pentagon insider told me they have alien ships that can…” This is why we can’t have nice things. Don’t help JC pivot to AI.

In the months before his death, Suchir Balaji was working on a scientific essay, in which he explained why Large Language Models (LLMs) will never even come close to Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). Over the course of his four years as a key engineer and developer at OpenAI, Suchir Balaji became increasingly critical of the company's management strategies. He was particularly troubled by Sam Altman's constant lies and deceptions. It must have been very frustrating for Suchir Balaji having to watch Sam Altman - after being fired in November 2023 by the board over his highly untrustworthy and unethical behavior - bullying his way back into power within only 5 days. Sam Altman was reinstated as CEO of OpenAI on November 22nd, 2023. Shortly thereafter, he dismissed the board members responsible for his dismissal. He restructured the board to make it nearly impossible to take action against him again. Suchir Balaji left OpenAI in August 2024. He was brutally murdered in his San Francisco apartment on November 22nd, 2024, on the day exactly 1 year after Sam Altman’s reinstatement.

Are you making an assertion?

Don't tell @GaryMarcus

You just did. Thanks.
