Stop putting people in prison for comments on line, stop importing criminals, give death penalties to some of the criminals, and, start putting more politicians into prisons so that the public feels safe.

So she’s agreeing for a rapist to be released from prison due to a shortage of cells so another rapist can be convicted and put in that same cell. Rapists and pedos shouldn’t be in a revolving door of sentences. They need to be locked away forever to protect women and children.

If she sought to provide risk assessments she clearly didn’t do her job, as they aren’t in place. Even if some form of risk assessment had been properly instituted, the victims would still feel vulnerable to another attack. The introduction of this bill “has been handled appallingly” in her own words! According to her, the warning letters should not have been sent out - she just wants this issue covered up and the victims silenced.

She is a disgusting opportunist. She portrays herself as a supporter of abused women and then does this.

The time has arrived for a serious and swift rethink on sentencing as a whole. The establishment must immediately cease blaming lack of space for the release of offenders. The Government seem to want to build gulags so why not build more prisons. Meanwhile if criminals have to double or more up in cells so what. Not only that but ending early release for all but the most minor of offences is easy to achieve - just don't let criminals out! Lastly and perhaps more importantly is to make sentencing simpler. If the tariff is life then there's no need to pretend that 15yrs is what that really means. That intention must apply across the board and not some imagined timescale which means victims are being conned into thinking what is handed down will be what is served. None of this is difficult but all of this needs the Government to have the guts to say enough is enough. The electorate have had enough why hasn't the Government of the day had enough too. Rape is talked about as if it's a petty crime! I remember when the word rape was considered the same as a swear word because it was horrific and shocking and people didn't want to say it out loud. We have a government now who have normalised it! Tells you what their thinking.

A judge already carried out that risk assessment, and found that they should be in jail.
