Jesse Watters misled his audience about his interview with Abdul El-Sayed. Watters DID NOT ask him about any policy regarding taxes on unrealized stock market gains. Watters also called an old poll 'fresh." El-Sayed also identifies as a capitalist not a socialist. RECEIPTS!

It is incalculable how much damage that network has done to our country (along with Limbaugh, of course).

I yelled at my computer when Watters made the comment about the stock market. I even tripled checked the transcript and there was no mention of “stock market” or even “stocks” in the interview.

They know that they can get away with overwhelming the grid with slander while their bubble remains intact.

It’s not ‘misleading’. It’s lying.

To be clear, you can borrow money on unrealized stock market gains. If you can borrow money on it, you should have to pay taxes on it. If it goes down, you should be able to count that against your tax bill. This is not hard.

Watters never brought up any of that. He never even used the words “stocks” or “stock market” in the entire interview. He’s lying in this clip. He may have meant to ask him about this but he didn’t ask him once during the interview.

He's a progressive, not a socialist. Progressives back capitalism. We just want well regulated capitalism, because unregulated capitalism always ends in monopoly/oligopoly... The stage we're at now in almost every single industry.

The right keeps trying to use the socialism label to fear monger.

We appreciate you trying, but I think for the viewers of that network the whole 'facts thing' is not a thing for them. They come for the rage and they get supplied what they are asking for, regardless of the facts.

He says “I am a capitalist” in the clip you are responding to. It’s in the interview with CBS from August 3.

No receipts from Murdoch. Perhaps when he dies, Lachlan figures out the 100 Pct. Control of an aging and dying audience is a revenue loser and they change direction.

Abdul El-Sayed doesn't even know what the federal budget is, yet he wants to spend 4 TRILLION DOLLARS on medicare-for-all. JESSE WATTERS: "I don't want you guys to blow the country up. Do you know how much the federal budget is now?" ABDUL EL-SAYED: "No. Neither do I. Pete Hegseth --" JESSE WATTERS: "Answer the question. Do you know what the federal budget is for?" ABDUL EL-SAYED: "I just want to talk about this. You want to talk about budgets. I'm happy to do that. The guy who used to work on your channel, I think he was the sixth host on that five. He wanted to raise our military budget to $1.5 trillion, and you don't seem to be upset about that. So we can fight we don't know how to get out of to raise our gas prices five dollars a gallon? That doesn't make sense to me, Jesse." From there the ad hominens started coming in. JESSE WATTERS "I have a feeling, Abdul, you don't even know how much money the government spends every year. Do you know?" ABDUL EL-SAYED: "Look, the question, Jesse, to me --" JESSE WATTERS: "Alright, so you don't know. Let me tell you what it is. It's $7 trillion a year, and your plan to take over the health care system is four trillion." ABDUL-EL SAYED: "To exactly your point --" JESSE WATTERS: "I'm not very good at math, I don't think you're very good at math either. Go ahead." ABDUL EL-SAYED: "Clearly. Clearly you don't. And you don't seem to care, but I don't think most Americans want to spend that much money on military escapades so that the folks stranded on the USS Abraham Lincoln can even get a sausage for breakfast, because I just think that we could do a whole lot better with our money. And I think that's where you and I --" JESSE WATTERS: "Yeah, I disagree. I think if you spend $4 trillion, everything else is going to get really expensive."
