The Great Invitation: Jesus Calls All Sinners We've all fallen short of God's glory. We've all messed up. We're all sinners in need of a Savior. And Jesus says, "Come as you are." In Matthew 9:11-13, Jesus responds to critics, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. Go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, and not sacrifice! For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners."" He's not calling the "good ones". He's calling the broken, the lost, and the hurting. He's saying, "I'm here for you. I've got this." This is the heart of the Gospel: Jesus came to save sinners, not to judge them. He sees our mess and offers mercy, love, and eternal life. So, if you're feeling broken or lost, know this: Jesus is calling you. Come as you are.
