jesus christ did he deactivate starscream

i distinctly remember starscream was nowhere to be seen for a few episodes after this happened, which left me wondering just how bad it was, and the fact that they never acknowledged it was somehow,,, dark. not that i'm surprised when these two are involved

whenever anyone claims megatron isn't abusive i immediately think of this scene. it's such a disproportionate reaction. not to say starscream is an innocent flower who can do no wrong but the amount of times megatron goes off on him unprovoked is ridiculous

the fact is that the violence in g1 is kinda looney tunes-ish (by extension their dynamic) and there are virtually no consequences since usually things are resolved within the ep, so seeing that starscream does NOT come back immediately after this always left me uncomfortable

@quirkydetective Don't forget that other episodie where the Abots were literally making pranks (Oppy included!) about how hard was the beating Meggs was going to give him. Star didn't appear for several chapers, either.

Starscream didn't even deserve this one. How tf was he supposed to know a camera was made, let alone that the parts could be separated. No wonder the next time we see him is "Starscream's Brigade." A much deserved betrayal lol

One of my favorite episodes. Especially since it shuts down a certain piece of propaganda that I hate.

This is literally the One Singular Moment Starscream has actually followed Megatron's orders without traitorous intent and it's the One Fucking Time Megatron actually deals with his ass, it feels oddly fucked up

A a child, this was the very obvious proof of how abusive and torturing was for StSc his postion under Meggs's foot. He did NOTHING wrong on this scenne to deserve such a beat.
