i totally agree with this dude, the trauma perspective on point but for me it's also hand in hand with his compassion for others and stop at nothing to prevent what happened to him happen to others because of that genuine empathy and love he holds

AND they nailed this in this show, Bruce would rather GIVE up being Batman then resort to killing. which is such a very complex and layered concept, he physically couldn't do it in this scene, shaking as he was holding the gun...just insane

I dont understand how its “cooler” when batman kills when it seems so much more interesting for someone who seems as crazy as batman who goes all in when beating up criminals and still manages and upholds such a rule and is so strict about it that he almost second hand kills

makes the character boring and makes him no different than the Punisher or any other vigilante. that's why i love Daredevil & Batman, moral compasses are always far more interesting than letting loose and firing bullets into everyone
