Jesus was of Judah indeed..... but "Isreal" ≠ "Jews" or only Judah. Jacob, son of Issac, son of Abraham was given a new name by God called Isreal. His (Isreals) 12 son's comprised the ancient biblical people of "Isreal" and Judah was one of those 12 tribes. The modern day state of Isreal is NOT the biblical people Israel. The Jews (one tribe of Isreal) currently populate a portion of the Biblical land that the ancient 12 tribes of "Isreal" inhabited. One does not have to support the modern nation state of Isreal as if it was the entirety of "biblical Isreal."
