Jesus preached to the souls in Hell from before His advent as well as made a mockery openly of Satan and all fallen powers, snatching the keys of death and Hell and breaking down the bars and gates of Sheol in His triumphant entry (Psalm 107/Psalm 24) He entered Hell as the King of Glory, not another sinner, the demons immediately knew Satan messed up, remember the Bible blames His crucifixion on the principalities as much as in the Jews, it was a plan of Satan and his children and it backfired spectacularly

The Bible NEVER teaches Jesus suffered in Hell, as He said, "It is finished!" on the cross. Sin was paid for ON THE CROSS...and that was as bad as, or worse, than any Hell. He did go to Hades...to release the OT captives...but that's a different matter. Besides that, sex involves the body....the body remained on earth, until after the resurrection. This is a seriously perverted imagination at work.

This is gross, but the comments are possibly more concerning - at least confusing. I have zero desire to argue what happened after Jesus's death. I don't know. I don't think Scripture is exactly clear, and I feel no obligation to try to define it. I don't think it's the important part. I consider the physical torment Jesus indured to be horrific beyond what I can fully imagine or appreciate, but I also believe it wasn't the worst thing He endured before His death. That moment that He fully endured the weight of our sins and the Father turned His face from Him...THAT is the horror. That is hell...the absence of/the full separation from God. The physical body will reach a point where physical pain doesn't fully register, but the emotional and mental pain of that separation must have been so bad. I think people get too hung up on the physical excruciating pain He endured and gloss over them mental and emotional anguish.
