Yes—Jesus is King. Not just a king—the King of kings and the Lord of lords. “On His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.” —Revelation 19:16 He is not elected, nor can He be dethroned. His kingdom is everlasting. “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.” —Hebrews 1:8 He is the King prophesied of old, born to rule with justice, mercy, and truth: “For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” —Isaiah 9:6 When He stood before Pilate, He didn’t deny His kingship—He confirmed it: “You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world…” —John 18:37 Even now, He reigns at the right hand of the Father, interceding for us. “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow…” —Philippians 2:9–10 And one day soon, every nation, tribe, and tongue will see Him return—not as a suffering servant, but as the conquering King: “Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him…” —Revelation 1:7 So yes—Jesus is King. Forever crowned in glory, robed in majesty, and worthy of all praise.
