I’d say that is a mischaracterization of Jesus. He was not a pacifist shrinking away. He was an activist who stood up to evil. You cite Luke 6 go read Luke 22:36 where he warns his disciples that things are about to get hot for them and to go buy a sword. Nor can you read the entire OT, the written Word of God (Jesus) and arrive at pacifism in response to evil. This is what happens when someone brand new to scripture hears a sermon or chooses a verse or two and then projects themselves into the text. I miss Charlie. I hate evil. I don’t think Tucker hates evil. Something has happened to him that he sides with mass murderers and genocidal pathogens. He needs to find God. The right one - Jesus.

Exactly Tucker, I fully agree. I've always been against violence since I was child, nothing to do with any political affiliation. I was taught to practice the Golden Rule and to emulate Jesus's teachings to the best of my ability. I've grappled with the death penalty, as I believe it's not our place to make that decision, yet Gods.🙏
