A Muslim woman recently asked: Did Jesus teach faith alone, or did He teach obedience to God? It’s an honest question. And it’s a good one. Let’s walk slowly through the Scriptures, through the life of Christ, and through the early Church He founded.

🔴 Oh, Lily, your theological tirade is a laughable distortion of Christian doctrine, and your selective scripture twisting exposes your ignorance. You claim Jesus never said believing in Him alone suffices, yet John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life”, directly contradicts your rant. Your cherry-picking of Matthew 7:21 ignores the broader context where Jesus warns against false professions, not works-based salvation, as Paul clarifies in Ephesians 2:8-9: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith: “and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast.” Your insistence on “keeping the commandments” as a salvation requirement flips the New Covenant on its head, ignoring Hebrews 8:13, which states the old law is obsolete. Fact is, your argument reeks of legalism, not grace, and your audience deserves better than your half-baked heresy. Sit down, you’re embarrassing yourself with this fundamentalist folly.

I think you have never read John 5:24 John 5:24 (NIV): "Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life." John 5:24 means that if you listen to Jesus' teachings and truly believe in God who sent Him, you will receive eternal life. You won’t face judgment for sin, because you’ve already moved from spiritual death to spiritual life. Detailed Explanation: ✅ 1. "Very truly I tell you" This is Jesus’ way of saying, “Pay close attention—this is absolutely true.” It's a strong and solemn statement. ✅ 2. "Whoever hears my word" “Hearing” here means not just listening, but accepting and following Jesus' message with faith. ✅ 3. "And believes him who sent me" Jesus is saying that to believe in Him is also to believe in the Father (God), who sent Him into the world for our salvation. ✅ 4. "Has eternal life" This means you already possess eternal life—not just in the future, but starting now. Eternal life is not just living forever, but having a relationship with God. ✅ 5. "Will not be judged" Believers won’t face final condemnation because Jesus took the punishment for sin on Himself. They are justified (declared righteous) through faith. ✅ 6. "But has crossed over from death to life" This is a powerful transformation—from spiritual death (separation from God because of sin) to spiritual life (fellowship with God). It's something that happens the moment you believe.

So you believe some of what Jesus says but not others. Do you also believe he said he is the way, the truth and the life? Do you believe he said he has all authority in heaven and earth? Why pick and choose what you believe he said and did not say? It’s not consistent. It’s arbitrary

"But they neither killed nor crucified him (Jesus), it was only made to appear so. Even those who argue for this crucifixion are in doubt. They have no knowledge whatsoever, only making assumptions. They certainly did not kill him."
