Aaron Glenn goes back-and-forth with a reporter on Woody Johnson's Justin Fields commentary: Reporter: "We know how [Woody] feels about Justin, clearly he does not want him playing..." Glenn: "What makes you say that? Did he say that?" Reporter: "Well, he was very critical of him" Glenn: "What did he say?" Reporter: "He said he couldn't complete a pass" Glenn: "Does that say he doesn't like the quarterback? Does that say that the quarterback is not playing?" Reporter: "No...but I'm curious how his opinion impacts your decision when your owner is basically stating that he doesn't think Justin Fields is getting the job done" Glenn: "...[Woody] trusts me to make that decision. That comment was actually said by a number of guys, including our quarterback, as far as the efficiency that we play. Apparently #Jets HC Aaron Glenn did not like the energy or their practice yesterday, & afterwards he told them "straight up how he felt" "He's one of the realest coaches I've ever played for. He's not gonna beat around the bush, he's gonna tell you what it is. That clear communication, that trust between him & all the players on the team, I think that's what we need. Just his passion for the game. His energy. He comes in here each & every day with energy & passion & I think that feeds off to the whole team. Justin Fields: God’s not Finished.. “Justin Fields is Taysom Hill” “Justin Fields is nothing but a back-up” “Justin Fields just can’t process what he sees” Sometimes a man gotta say the hell with everybody else and do what’s best for them The New York Jets taught Justin Fields a valuable lesson. Not all money is good money. Not all starting roles are worth it.. Justin Fields has exhausted starting for teams with rookie head coaches, terrible coaching, no OL, and bad defense. Aaron Glenn hiring Tanner Engstrand as an offensive coordinator when he has never installed an offense in his life made zero sense. Justin Fields paid the price of inexperienced coaches yet again, but I think he finally learned the lesson God had been revealing to him. Put no faith in man. Put faith in God and Christ that dwells within. Seeing him restart his QB journey with Eric Bieniemy at OC, Andy Reid at HC, and Pat Mahomes in the QB room was the right move. Learn from the experienced veterans for 1-2 years regardless of your role. Learn the philosophy of football Learn the system Fields is now getting everything that he should have received day 1 in Chicago We will now witness him develop into a top QB in this league So be it…
