quickbooks will outlive the models that replace it, ask the assets store

how did you make such a nice visualizer please share prompt

Will Newton's profile picture
Will Newton12 days ago

first prompt: > Let’s make a prototype of a huge stack of papers where they rapidly fly to the right as they are “processed”. Make it a standalone component

@1master_shifu Damn. I was really thinking it would be some hyper specific detailed prompt.

Will Newton's profile picture
Will Newton12 days ago

@1master_shifu It was not. It was 10-15 different medium-sized prompts

Was not expecting this to blow up 😆 FAQ - Can you share the Jev prompts? its just a design prototype and not a real jev implementation, so i can't share the jev prompt for classification, even though this is a great jev use case it seems we all agree - How did you make this? it was 'designed in code' with opus 5.5 multi-shot iterating chunk by chunk, first the paper stack with a jig, then the charts, then tightening the details/fixing slop/scuccess state. i used the jig to make it feel "Right" - But Quickbooks...X: i really do hate quickbooks and will diligently work on taking them down 😆 happy hacking 🤘

how many transactions are you processing for inference latency to become the bottleneck here

Will Newton's profile picture
Will Newton12 days ago

my understanding is it should be able to crank out ~100's per second Technically the papers should be flying faster.

Thanks. I had to watch my wife fight with QuickBooks for the past week and am now full of rage and spite so I'm going to go get them.

I love the UI. Do you have any evals on the error rate?

Will Newton's profile picture
Will Newton12 days ago

I'm sorry to admit that it's not real - so no evals here. It's just a visual prototype. However JEV would be great for this kind of task, and this is how I would want this kind of job visualized

noooooooo, I was so excited. lol. I do love the concept though, great job. You did inspire me to run a little experiment. I am working on a financial search engine system myself - and hadn't yet seriously considered Jev for the classification.

Speed is not the same as accuracy. 2/3rd of them are wrong. Report ground truth accuracy, let's see then
