I was sad. Suddenly my phone rang. It was Jhand-Nayak calling. Jhand- "Hey what happened? U sound sad" Me- "Priyanka selected Kerala CM. Missing entertainment" Jhand- "Aree Don't worry. I'm here. Look how I'll mess up now. Look at huddle at KC Venugopal's residence incl KPCC chief Sunny Joseph & other Sr leaders. They're discussing on who joins Keralam cabinet for last 2 hrs. I'll make sure it doesn't happen smoothly. Afterall Priyanka played a game with me by forcing me to accept VD Satheesan as CM. My mom also supported her. Now see how my man, my dear KC plays. We'll ensure Satheesan will be a weak CM." Me- "Come on Jhand, CONgress has clear majority with UDF. How can you make him weak CM" Jhand- "Aree Bhikhu, you don't know how I have annoyed another very Sr Leader Ramesh Chennithala. He is so angry that he is still threatening to not join cabinet & may resign with his group of MLAs. I added fuel to his anger by not calling him even once. So you know, Satheesan will have to make so many compromises that my man, my dear KC will be the actual powerhouse behind the curtains" Me- "Are you sure your plan is going to work?" Jhand- "Ofcourse. Haven't you seen how I provide entertainment in Karnataka too where CONgress alone has big majority" Me- "Yeah. Now it sounds convincing. Thanks Jhand, you relieved me. I'm already feeling energetic thinking about the Circus in Keralam. What's your plan now?" Jhand- "Nothing special. Will go & watch Pogo. Bye"

High Drama in Karnataka Assembly: CM Siddaramaiah Dismisses Leadership Change Rumors with Wit Bengaluru The #Karnataka Legislative Assembly witnessed a rare blend of sharp political maneuvering and lighthearted banter today as Chief Minister #Siddaramaiah took center stage to address persistent rumors regarding a change in leadership. The session, which began with standard discussions on the state budget, quickly shifted gears when Opposition members, led by R.Ashoka , took a swipe at the Speaker of the House, U.T. Khader. Ashoka jokingly suggested that the Speaker’s "time was up," citing recent renovations and official photographs as evidence that a transition was imminent. The Chief Minister was quick to intervene, shielding the Speaker with his trademark wit. When the Opposition attempted to draw a parallel between the Speaker's tenure and the CM's own position, Siddaramaiah remained unfazed. "As long as the High Command decides, I am the Chief Minister. That is it," Siddaramaiah declared, effectively silencing the murmurs of an immediate power shift within the Congress party. He further bolstered the Speaker’s position, Predicting that Khader would not only complete his term but would "definitely win again in 2028." The debate took a humorous turn when the Chief Minister began listing potential CM candidates from Opposition benches. In a move that drew laughter from across the aisle, he named several leaders, including R. Ashoka, Aravind Bellad stating he would be "happy" to see any of them in the top post. Siddaramaiah said, "Dreams will always be there. Don't you have dreams too? Don't you dream of becoming Chief Minister? You do, don't you? Let it be, I’d be happy for you. I’d be happy even if you became CM. I’d be happy if Aravind Bellad became CM. Or Ashok... look, even Vijayendra is sitting there waiting. Vijayendra won't leave anyone alone!". However, the mood sharpened when the Opposition challenged him to name his own deputy, D.K. Shivakumar, as a future CM. Siddaramaiah pivoted by stating that all his MLAs in the house are technically "eligible" for the post, though many simply lack the "opportunity." Siddaramaiah said, "All of them are eligible. I’d be happy no matter which of them becomes Chief Minister. Why Can't M.B. Patil become one? Or Muniyappa? Dinesh Gundu Rao? Or Khandre? Everyone has the merit; they just haven't got the opportunity yet, that's all! In a final jab, the Opposition claimed the names mentioned by the CM were "Govinda". Siddaramaiah countered, insisting that in politics, no one is ever truly finished if the right opportunity arises.. Siddaramaiah DK Shivakumar R. Ashoka Vijayendra Yediyurappa UT Khader Karnataka Congress BJP Karnataka
