We are prepared to face bullets, even if the government shoots us in the chest, for this cause. We will continue our agitation until our demands are met. We are issuing an ultimatum to the government: meet our demands by the 18th. Cancel the JSSC results, scrap all exams conducted by the TDPL agency, and order a CBI inquiry into all of them. We have been staging an indefinite sit-in protest for the past 15 days... We received an invitation from the govt for a delegation meeting, and our first round of talks with the govt delegation concluded yesterday, during which we presented our demands in detail and with logical reasoning, specifically, which exams we are demanding be cancelled and the reasons why, we are demanding a CBI investigation and why we are calling for reforms. The govt delegation listened to our demands very carefully and stated that they would place them before the Chief Minister for consideration and invite us for a second round of talks... what we have witnessed from the government's side today has left us very upset... look at the game the government is playing: today, they accepted memoranda from about 6-7 other organizations. Protests, led by students, quickly took to the streets demanding justice, accountability and the end of systemic corruption. Vučić's government imprisoned dozens of students, cracked down on protesters, and refused to listen to their demands. We stand with the demonstrators who have been protesting for one year now. The Serbian people have the right to live in a democratic country where democracy and the rule of law are respected, and officials are held accountable for their actions.

VIDEO | Ranchi: A delegation of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) arrived in Ranchi on August 8 to extend support to students protesting alleged irregularities in recruitment examinations conducted by JPSC-JSSC. One of the members' from the delegation says, "Our position is clear, we stand firmly with the protesting students and support their demands. We have no new demands of our own. If even a single student here feels aggrieved, if these students feel that justice has not been served, then justice has indeed not been served. On my way here, I saw huge hoardings for World Tribal Day celebrations that read, 'To speak is to sing, and to walk is to dance.' These students are merely speaking, why doesn't the government listen to them as if it were music? They are marching, why not view their march as a dance and fulfill their demands?" "By accepting some of their demands, the government has already admitted to its failures. How can they now claim that no irregularities occurred in the JSSC CGL exam? The demands regarding the JSSC CGL and other pending issues must be met. We have a team of 400 volunteers supporting them. The unleashing of police brutality by those who have been elected to serve us transcends party lines, and what Revanth Reddy’s police did today at OU and Satavahana University proves just that.
