I always thought Hendrix was the Charlie Parker of rock guitar. He changed the way we listen to blues based rock and soul, gave it a shot of avant-garde. Great players like Stevie Ray Vaughan. Eddie van Halen, Steve Vai owe a lot to Jimi.
