This afternoon I point west… back across the Atlantic to Dallas. It’s been a while. There’s something quietly special about a North Atlantic crossing. On a map it looks simple, a straight line between continents. In reality, it’s anything but. Each day, a set of invisible highways is drawn across the ocean: the North Atlantic Track (NAT) system. These tracks aren’t permanent. They move. Every 24 hours they’re rebuilt to align with the jet streams, eastbound flights riding the tailwinds for efficiency, westbound flights stepping north or south to avoid punishing headwinds. It’s choreography between aircraft and atmosphere. Instead of fixed airways, we fly along these daily-published tracks, spaced carefully to maintain separation in a sky with no radar coverage. Position reports, time estimates, datalink messages, precision layered over thousands of miles of water. It’s aviation at its purest: planning, physics, trust. Somewhere along that great circle route the sun will slip beneath the horizon ahead of us. And by early evening, local time, Texas. I’m looking forward to catching up with Doug Dunbar. Familiar laughter. And some properly done BBQ, the kind that requires patience measured in hours, not minutes. Brisket that yields rather than resists. So Dallas friends… DFW Airport DFW Tower here we come 🙌🏻✈️ #PilotLife #NorthAtlantic #NATTracks #LongHaul #AvGeek #A350 #FlightDeckView #DallasBound #TexasBBQ #AirlineLife #GreatCircle #AboveTheClouds

TAKE A BREATH. TODAY WAS ROUGH. HERE IS WHAT IS STILL COMING. I know. It was a bad day. Barrett and Roberts handed the left a win on mail-in ballots that stings, and it is going to sting for a while. We are not going to pretend otherwise. But before you check out for the night, you need to know what is still coming, because some of the biggest decisions of this entire term have not dropped yet. And some of them could be very good for our side. Here is where things stand. Today the Court decided two major cases. On mail-in ballots, Barrett wrote the majority and sided with the liberals. Ballots postmarked by Election Day can be received days later and still count. Roberts went with her. Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch, and mostly Kavanaugh dissented. It was a gut punch and we covered it in detail earlier. The other big decision today was actually a win. The Court upheld Trump's authority to fire Rebecca Slaughter from the Federal Trade Commission. Trump called it one of the most important presidential power decisions ever handed down. He is not wrong. That one matters for executive authority in ways that will echo for years. Now here is what is still coming. BIRTHRIGHT CITIZENSHIP. This is the big one. Trump signed an executive order on day one of his second term ending automatic citizenship for children born to illegal immigrants and temporary visa holders. Every lower court blocked it as unconstitutional. The Supreme Court is the last stop. Conservative justices showed skepticism toward the administration's position during oral arguments, so do not expect a clean sweep, but this ruling is going to reshape immigration policy no matter how it lands. TRANSGENDER ATHLETES. The Court is set to rule on the Idaho and West Virginia bans on biological males competing in women's sports. The conservative justices appeared ready to uphold those bans during arguments. This could be a significant win that enshrines once and for all that Title IX does not require schools to allow biological males to compete against women. There is also a case on presidential firing power at the Federal Reserve involving Governor Lisa Cook, and a geofence warrant case involving Fourth Amendment privacy rights. The Court has not announced the final day of the term. It could be later this week or it could slip into early July. Here is the bottom line. Today hurt. The mail-in ballot ruling is a real setback and we are going to fight it through Congress. But this term is not over. The decisions still coming have the potential to deliver wins on the issues that matter most to this movement, the border, women's sports, and the limits of government power. Stay in the fight. Tomorrow is another day and the Court is not done yet.

How to stay sane VTubing for a living! (From a full-time Vtuber and manager) 1 - Let people know you are in it full-time: Let your audience know this relies on their support without holding them hostage; Let them know you value their support, yes also to lurkers, yes also to people who can only be there for a few minutes a day. They are who made you. 2 - Be greatful: Don't whine about failures, celebrate the times you get back up. Nobody likes consistent negativity on their feed. Of course you can express when you are struggling, BUT consider building yourself AND your audience up, tons better for your MH. 3 - Budget properly: Yes, that new model or $300 background looks good, but surviving looks better, staying out of debt feels loads better. Keep aa 50-50 from your goals as a wage and only reinvest 50% of your VTuber stonks into VTubing, especially into projects that make very little back like music, skebs, etc. 4 - Be friendly, not a pushover: Risking your safety, mh, privacy is never worth it. Nobody should be making demands beyond the boundaries and timescale you set. Collab not comfortable for your schedule, don't do it. Friends pushing you to show your irl info, not your friends. Chat asking too much from you, you can give them a friendly no. It's your space, curate it to your needs. 5 - Work hard and reflect: Nobody wants to admit they have been lazy or could have done more, but sometimes it's good to admit to yourself that you were expecting too high a number for the content you put out. It sucks, but looking into your weaknesses as well as strengths is the only way to do better in the future. 6 - Make time: Don't spend 12h a day streaming when you get paid less than minimum wage per hour, stop burning yourself out for zero discoverability. Your time is better spend brainstorming and creating more off-stream content, looking at other streamers content and learning from those that came before you. Your time is so valuable, don't waste it. 7 - Finally: You are a person off-stream!!! Eat, drink, workout, socialize if you can. Have secrets. Have a life, friends and interests outside of stream. You don't need to share everything with your chat and community, and likewise you DON'T have to share your VTubing journey with your family if they don't need to know. If it's full-time, it's a job, there needs to be a step back at the end of the day, for your own sanity. Hope this reaches those that want to go full-time as a VTuber!!!

Avdiivka basement & a stranger wearing my face, carrying my name. I hear it again—the distinct, ominous roar of an enemy Su. Every time that jet screams across the sky, it's like a knife twisting in my gut. I'm here, in this shattered husk of a home, not by choice but by necessity. It's not my house, but the remnants around me—a child's discarded toy, a photo half-burned—whisper stories of a life that once was. Did the kid make it out? The thought haunts me, gnawing at the edges of my already frayed sanity. The sound of a missile launch is a trigger. Not just the physical flinch, but something deeper, a primal fear that freezes my blood. When that KAB comes howling down, reality fractures. It's not just the explosion, the devastation it brings; it's the anticipation, the waiting, that shreds my nerves. The fear is palpable, a thick presence in my throat that makes it hard to swallow, hard to breathe. When the KAB (guided bomb) lands, the devastation it brings is unimaginable. Entire blocks, homes like mine, are reduced to rubble. I avoid looking my brothers in the eye. There's guilt, shame... I've seen too much, done too much. But in the moment the bomb hits, our eyes lock. There's something there—fear, yes, but also a defiance, a refusal to be broken. It's what keeps us going, this shared flame of resistance, flickering but never extinguished. The ground shakes, and dust chokes the air. Somewhere, distant yet terrifyingly close, screams pierce through the aftermath. The radio crackles to life—300! Help!—a statistic that's become all too familiar. Each code 300 announced, is a blade twisting in an already festering wound. This war has blurred the lines between what's real and what's conjured by my frayed mind. At night, when the gunfire fades, the battle rages on in my dreams. I'm trapped in a cycle of reliving the horrors by day and battling them in my sleep. It's a relentless assault on the psyche, a war on two fronts where peace seems like a concept from another lifetime. Yet, I endure, driven by a flicker of hope or perhaps the stubbornness to not give in. But at what cost? With each passing day, the line between the soldier I am and the person I was fades, leaving behind a stranger wearing my face, carrying my name. Reflections on pain, fear, and struggle have become my constant companions. What I've seen, the choices I've had to make—there's no escaping the memories. They're etched into my soul, a permanent reminder of the darkness that war breeds. And in the quiet moments, when the dust settles and the adrenaline fades, I'm left with the haunting question: Who have I become? I find myself lost, struggling to cling to the fragments of who I used to be, even as I brace for the next wave of terror that the skies promise to unleash. The line between reality and imagination blurs, creating a world where fear, pain, and the struggle to endure define my existence. We are but a flicker of light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in a world consumed by shadow. And we will continue to fight, to stand, to endure, for as long as we draw breath. BREAKING: The man who saw 2008 coming just placed his biggest bet against the AI boom, and the strangest name on his list is not a tech company at all. It is a bulldozer maker. Dr. Michael J. Burry shorted Nvidia, Applied Materials, Tesla, and the whole chip index this week. But the one he led with, the one he said jumped out at him, was Caterpillar, a 100-year-old maker of construction equipment. Why would the most famous bubble-caller alive make a heavy-machinery company his headline AI short? Because that is the whole tell. Caterpillar hit an all-time high this year, up 86 percent, its valuation richer than at any point in three decades. And look at the twist that makes the bet so sharp .. the re-rating is not pure fantasy. Caterpillar's order backlog is up 79 percent, because new chip factories and data centers need its generators, turbines, and earth-movers before a single server switches on. The market noticed, and repriced a machinery company as an AI stock. In Dr. Burry's words: “I have never shorted Caterpillar. It has always done great for me on the long side.” His trigger was South Korea. Burry named it directly: hundreds of billions in new chip-fab spending announced this week, the pledge that sent Caterpillar to its record. His verdict: “I see that as the beginning of the end.” Read and understand carefully what that means. Dr. Burry is not shorting artificial intelligence. Nope! He is shorting the moment the mania grew so vast it priced a maker of earth-movers like a designer of chips, betting that even real, booming orders have been valued as if they last forever. When the bubble reaches the machines that dig the holes the servers sit in, that is the line he chose to stand on. And the timing is also not quite subtle. He placed the bet at all-time highs, on the very day the chip index logged its greatest half-year run since the year 2000, the year he keeps naming. Will Burry prove himself right this time?
