Back in 2014 when I saw these interviews I also thought that everything these two children said must be true. But it should also be made known that later, again while speaking to police, the children recanted their story and said they were forced to say what they said by their mother's boyfriend Abraham Christie. In 2024, Channel 4 made a documentary all about this case. Here's a clip from that documentary where you can hear the children recant their story. You can also hear a recording of Abraham Christie egging the children on, some might even say coaching the children to say some of what they said. The documentary also tells of Abraham's 'dark past' of abuse which was revealed through posts on social media in 2022. I'll post the full documentary in my next comment (directly under this clip) so people can watch it and make up their own minds as to what the truth might be. Please don't respond to this comment until I've uploaded the documentary. Thanks.

A lady gathered her children and spoke to them about their father’s struggles to show him deep appreciation. She told them about everything they’ve faced as a family and how their dad works 12 hours every day to provide for them. She also shared that when they were close to losing their legal permission to stay in the UK, he was so overwhelmed that he was ready to take his own life, feeling ready to sacrifice everything for his family. as someone who’s been here since the beginning, i know that btxt’s friendship is one of the most precious things ever (“they’re family, of course” 🥹) and i want to emphasize that these are groups that have been together since bighit was still a small company. txt have already been there supporting bts since their early days and likewise, bts have watched txt grow up since they were trainees we’ve already heard stories from them about how they hang out at each other’s homes and play games together, go out for meals and drinks, and how the members often share that they ask their bangtan hyungs for advice. trust me, if you were there for all of this, you’d feel every time just how much they respect and look up to them as seniors and as their hyungs 💜 (cont.)
