Back in 2014 when I saw these interviews I also thought that everything these two children said must be true. But it should also be made known that later, again while speaking to police, the children recanted their story and said they were forced to say what they said by their mother's boyfriend Abraham Christie. In 2024, Channel 4 made a documentary all about this case. Here's a clip from that documentary where you can hear the children recant their story. You can also hear a recording of Abraham Christie egging the children on, some might even say coaching the children to say some of what they said. The documentary also tells of Abraham's 'dark past' of abuse which was revealed through posts on social media in 2022. I'll post the full documentary in my next comment (directly under this clip) so people can watch it and make up their own minds as to what the truth might be. Please don't respond to this comment until I've uploaded the documentary. Thanks.

A lady gathered her children and spoke to them about their father’s struggles to show him deep appreciation. She told them about everything they’ve faced as a family and how their dad works 12 hours every day to provide for them. She also shared that when they were close to losing their legal permission to stay in the UK, he was so overwhelmed that he was ready to take his own life, feeling ready to sacrifice everything for his family. In the end, she appreciated her husband openly, and they all went on their knees to thank their father for all he has done.

Then something unexpected happened in a Walmart. A man approached them asking if they dropped some money and asked if it was theirs. These young ladies were out having a good time, they were invited by an event planner. While inside, they noticed that some men kept coming up and pestering them and offering to buy them drinks. They planned on going to another bar, when they went outside the same men followed them outside. As soon as that happened, a woman came up to them, she looked worried and came up to them and pretended to be a friend of theirs that they haven’t seen in a long time. When they were out of ear shot of the men, she leaned in and told them what was going on. She invited them to go and hang out with her crowd so they could leave safely through the back. I think she knowingly saved them from being taken, we hear about this a lot from tourist areas, is it possible that many of the establishments are in on it?

You know, the only reason they created that IG account was… For us. It was never about fame or money. It was their way of reaching out when everything around them was falling apart. A place where they tried to share small moments of happiness, excitement, love, and peace with us, even when they barely had any left for themselves. They made it because they were worried. Because they knew we were worried. Because they didn’t want the people who cared about them to sit there wondering if they were okay. And honestly, it was during that time that we saw them in a way we never had before. Real, unfiltered, not dressed up by a company, not edited, not scripted. Just them. That little page carried so much, didn’t it? They taught us so many things without ever needing to put on a show. Through every live and every small update, they showed us what real courage looks like, what honesty feels like, and how powerful someone can be even when everything around them is pushing back. But it was also a place that held their fear, their stress, their sleepless nights, and the weight of knowing the whole world was watching and anything they said could be twisted in an instant. It was a happy place. But never an easy one. We went through so much during that period. From the excitement of seeing them as NJZ to the shock of their injunction being enforced. So many times we thought we saw the light at the end of the tunnel, only for it to turn out to be a fire blocking the path. From excitement to anger, hope to hopelessness, joy to despair, ADHD to depression… everything, all at once. Calling it a roller coaster is an understatement. A lot changed after that.
