q. it’s an obvious question but when you came back to be in the band, it’s an interesting thing because you’re the youngest and they’ll always think of you as the youngest but you’re also a solo hitmaker. how did that affect the way that you approach things for the new album and maybe the way the other members approach things with you? 🐰: i’m just a very carefree and open person and I don’t think too much during my day-to-day unless I really have to. so when it comes to work process or choosing songs, I’ll express myself, sure, I’ll speak up and share my opinion, but I don’t stress about it. rather… well I don’t know about the others, I guess some of the members were pretty stressed but I just thought it was fun! I enjoyed it. I did what I wanted to do

Even though I said it jokingly, now I realize that it was inappropriate, so I’ll be more careful from now on. And I really love classical music, and I thought, maybe there isn’t as much presence of that in my… uh, not as much presence of that kind of music around me as there was when I was in college studying music. I’d just moved into my little bungalow in Surrey because I was trying to get as far away as I could, and I just remember finding out about that. I thought, ‘This is all getting a bit much…’, and then I started crying my eyes out. And then my dad started crying and he was like, ‘I don’t know how I can take this pain away,’ and I’m like, ‘Nobody can! This is hellish! Like… What is going on?!” It was really one thing after the other. And there’s so much that people don’t know about that I would never say, even though I just spilled some beans. But there’s so much that went into it [and] that I went through that I would never talk about, and it was real hard. So that’s probably why I get a bit frustrated at times [when people tell her not to talk about her experience].”

Asked about her “toxic” relationship and “hellish” breakup with Zayn, Perrie sheds some light on what she went through but stresses there’s still “so much” she’ll never share: “I need to be careful how I say this, but… Let’s just say there was… There was a bit of an overlap. When you’re the one left behind, it’s hard. Because it’s like, ‘Shit, they’ve left me for someone more beautiful than me, someone better than me…’ That’s how it felt at the time. Peter Thiel’s advice to his younger self: "Value substance over status.” One of the resolutions I came up with a number of years ago was to always value substance over status, substance over prestige. And if I was giving my younger self advice on what to do or how to think about one's life, I probably would still go to Stanford, might still go to law school. But I'd ask a lot more questions: why I was doing these things? Too much of it was driven by prestige and status, and not quite enough about really the substance of trying to learn things. I sort of think of it as this sort of crazy rolling quarter life crisis, and a sort of culmination in this big New York law firm where from the outside everybody wanted to get in, from the inside everybody wanted to get out. I lasted seven months and three days. And when I left, one of the people down the hall said, it's so reassuring to see you leave, Peter. I had no idea it was possible to escape from Alcatraz. And all you had to do was go through the front door. But people's identities get so wrapped up in the things they compete for that it was inconceivable for people to actually do that. And then the question was, how had I ended up there? Why had I not thought about that more? Even when I'd be at a bar people at the next table would be talking about it without knowing I was there "Is it right for them to do that?" We heard that so much and just around that time so many things happened to me personally and I had a lot on my mind about what I should do. Going through that I just thought I should pour it all out and leave a record and be as honest as I could be. And I think I was. the fact that they heard people talk ☹️☹️

Inspired talking about Skewmond and" the best jungler in the west" debate Q: Everyone was talking a lot of Skewmond, and I would like to know about: do you believe like the series put an end to any debate about the best jungler in the West? Inspired: To me, there was never a debate. I knew that I’m always the best, but I think Skewmond is a good player. I wouldn’t say that he had any phenomenal series, though, this tournament. I think he, against T1, he still made a lot of mistakes. When he was stronger, he didn’t really try to fight enemies, and or sometimes just over committed a bit, and I think G2 won against T1 just by waiting for T1 to make mistakes. I think today, I think Skewmond played well in the team fights. I think every time he was on my screen and we’re like skirmishing and team fighting, I think he did a good job. But I think just like team wise, and like how they all played together as a team and use their jungler was wrong. And it’s hard to say, as I always said, that don’t really know who’s there like which jungler is good because you don’t really know what was his idea beyond the game plan, what his teammates wanted to do. But it just seems like they were not connected well enough, and on top of that, as I said, I think the drafts were not that great. So yeah, I think he’s a good player, but I think they need to work more on team synergy in order to actually pressure when they’re strong if they want to be like the best in the world, because I think they definitely can, but need to work a bit more. 🐨 About the artworks... 🐨 I tried to keep this house very minimal 🐨 so I think I only got about 10 paintings. 🐨 Unlike my previous house, I wanted it to be minimal, calm, and dim. 🐨 Because as you live, adding things and filling things up is easy, but taking away what you already have is really hard. 🐨 I think it's really hard to do less, so I decided to start by removing as much as possible, and then fill it in later. 🐨 But in this house, the more I add, the more the interior feels damaged. 🐨 So I don't think I'll add too much.

#Youngjae reflects on mental health, sharing how he once felt like he couldn’t run away and why he wants to remind fans that it’s okay to seek help 👤 i don’t remember exactly when, but there was a time you talked about going through something really tough in the past, was that on the radio? 🌙 yes, i talked about it a lot on the radio. and as i kept talking about it, i started getting messages about things like depression and panic disorder. and actually, because i’ve experienced it myself, i feel like there’s something i can say to people going through it. the truth is, i couldn’t run away. 👤 right 🌙 i couldn’t run away. for me, running away would’ve made things worse. i was in a situation where i couldn’t run away, and even if i did, i’d end up being dragged back. that's how it was for me. but looking back now, i want to tell them it’s really okay. that it would’ve been okay to run away. and because i’ve expressed my struggles through my lyrics and shared them openly, i don’t think there’s anything shameful about it. in the past, when you say you’re going to a psychiatrist, well, things have changed a lot these days. these days, people say, “if you’re struggling, you should go get help,” but back then, it felt like you had to hide it. like it meant you had some kind of serious illness. that was the general perception at the time. that's why people ended up keeping it to themselves. but there’s no need to do that at all. there’s no need to be ashamed. this is something anyone might go through at some point in life. so i told those people not to think that way. 👤 i feel like doing radio helped you develop more empathy. 🌙 that’s true 👤 even though you’ve grown distant from me, it feels like you’ve gotten closer to the rest of the country 🌙 i think chinchin might have done something wrong 👤 weren’t we kind of close? 🌙 i think chinchin made a mistake. anyway, developing that empathy made me want to talk about these things more. because from a listener’s point of view, they might just see me as a celebrity. but i didn’t want to be seen that way. people often use the word “public figure,” but i’m not one. i don’t get paid by the government, so i’m not a public figure. i just happen to have a job like anyone else. 👤 you’re just someone who is more well-known. 🌙 yeah, just someone who works in the public eye, but i’m no different from anyone else. that’s what i really wanted to say. 👤 but even though you want to say that and you do believe it, there’s that feeling, right? like, “even if i keep saying this, will people really see me as the same?” 🌙 that’s true 👤 and that thought can feel frustrating 🌙 that’s why i talk about it even more. i do the same things too. like, i lie down on the floor before i go take a shower, and an hour or two passes, and i go, “ya, i need to shower now.” it's the same. our life is just the same. we’re all just specks of dust in the universe. we're really all the same. i guess i just want to feel closer to people.
