JJ complaining about refs: “They missed a blatant LeBron layup that was goaltended off the backboard, and Queta stuck his entire hand through the rim. I'll get some clarification on the rule, because honestly, that's a great way to defend floaters”

JJ Redick on Lebron breaking the all time field goals record 👀 "I wouldn't coach a basketball game that way to try to get a guy a record. He'll get his record, and we're trying to win a basketball game"

Wow!! For some reason LeBron attempts a backwards layup, it bricks, he doesn’t get back on defense because he’s busy complaining to the official, but since he’s still on the other end……. it pays off!! We’re going to need more effort from LeBron James tonight!! 🔥🔥

The batter was about to get hit by the ball thrown by the pitcher. As he was moving out of the way he stuck his hand out as a reflex to try and minimize the impact. The umpire didn’t think the batter intentionally stuck his hand out so he granted him first base. The opposing coach disagreed and his argument was, if he didn’t stick his hand out, why did he get hit.

Demar Derozan on watching clips from wizards jordan: He was incredible, the way he scored the ball and was able to create his shots at 40 years old. Lebron at 40 is still the same rim running layup merchant hes always been and still cant create a shot

Paul Pierce says the Spurs can’t guard Brunson same way they guarded SGA, his offensive package is way better than SGA’s: “I don’t care what nobody say. But the way he gets into the mid-range with floaters and his hesi and it throws you off. His game is kind of unorthodox in a way that it throws you off with his off balance shots off the glass, left hand, going right, left. And so I think you have to figure out a way to get the ball out of his hands of that nature.” (Via No Fouls Given)

Talk about a completely broken replay system. Ruled on the floor to be OU’s ball. Referees decide on their own to go review who it was off of. Blatant hack on the arm is what causes it, but the ball goes out on OU last. Refs rule A&M ball. Lmao.

I asked JJ Redick about this and whether or not he has also shown tape from his playing days on defense to his team. He said there has been only one time, and it was in a clip featuring LeBron James on offense with JJ defending him. “The only clip I've ever shown the team was, we were not taking charges to start the year, my first year, last year, and I wanted to get the guys incentivized to understand the importance of taking charges and using that as a means of rim protection. So I showed a clip of me taking a charge on LeBron, catching his spoon move, and it was his left elbow that went into my eye, and I got nine stitches and a concussion, but that's the one clip I've ever shown them.”

Call on the field is obstruction because her left foot was in the baseline. In my opinion, the obstruction rule is getting way out of hand and too nitpicky. The SS has to get the ball to make a play. Let them play! And let the runners be the D1 athletes that they are and figure it out.

“I've been bored for a little over a month now… Sitting on the bench SUCKS. All I did for the month and a half was yell at the refs. That's no fun… It's better to yell at them on the court” - Austin Reaves 😭

I won't let people rewrite history about Kobe. When LeBron and Kobe had equal teammates, Kobe stepped up and led his team to a win. LeBron shrunk, switched off Kobe, asked Prince to guard him on the last shot, then proceeded to not even hit the rim on his final shot. Kobe was being instantly doubled in a game with the best players in the world- only Kobe was getting instant doubles. Let that sink in. Mamba was one of one. That's why Coach K recruited him- Bron wasn't good enough to lead Team USA to gold. They had to go get Kobe to do that. 👊

🇺🇸MIKE BENZ: THE PEOPLE DEFENDING USAID ARE STUCK BETWEEN A ROCK AND A HARD PLACE “ Right now, the people who are trying to defend USAID are stuck between a rock and a hard place. They, they, they want to defend it on humanitarian grounds and then they get totally deluged with all the ways that it has gone wrong and all the horrible things that's funding. So then they, they then turn to layer two.” Source: TCN Mike Benz

What doesn’t get talked about enough is that Mike ELEVATED his teammates and MAXIMIZED their talents. He was a leader of troops- at times a brutal tyrant, at times an encourager. But everyone knew he was about WINNING and NOTHING else mattered, so they followed suit. LeBron, on the other hand, cries and complains half the game, often blaming refs and teammates mid-game. He doesn’t get back on defense and sets a WEAK tone for his teammates to follow. His team doesn’t know if winning matters most or his stats, because his actions are unclear. Another reason they don’t even BELONG in the same conversation. Mike is in his own category of greatness 🐐
