Murray perfect backup for a 2nd year rookie who was drafted to be “The Guy”. 6-4 record in basically his first year, McCarthy has warts but theres a reason Murray in his 7th season starting over.

Murray will be a bust just like he was in AZ Just a matter of how much damage he does to that team in the interim.

Kyler is not as tall. His arm is not a powerful. He may not be as fast. However, he is more fluid, understands how to manipulate the pocket, has field generalship, he’s got the brains to get the job done. McCarthy is a kid that will take years to get ready. Kyler will get the Vikings into the playoffs and who knows maybe the superbowl.
