Joaquin Phoenix regrets this infamous 2009 interview with Dave Letterman “It was horrible. I’ll never do it again.” “I originally did the pre-interview in character and it was just silly, so I called them back and I said, ‘Listen, I just want it to be really dangerous.”

Trump shortly after this meltdown: I just did an interview…but it was raining. It was with NBC fake news. And because it was raining, I got a little bit angry at them. I was not happy with them. But we had a good time.

"I never liked ['Be Joe Pyfer']. It's fake love, man. It was always cringe to me just because I don't want people walk up and telling me, 'Be Joe Pyfer.' It's corny. I did like the message of it. I didn't like it for the reasons people interpreted it. I liked it for the way that [Dana White] said it and he was saying, if you want to be in the UFC and this is where you want to be, act like Joe Pyfer, which was, I was passionate, I was vulgar, I screamed at him, I knocked the guy out, and I called my shot. I was a resilient motherfucker." - Bodybagz_Pyfer

I remember I had asked Brandon Aiyuk in the offseason if he would be down to do a YouTube live interview and he said that it wasn’t a good time and he’d let me know if something worked out. Naturally I just thought he was good off doing the interview which is perfectly fine but right after the 49ers lost to Philly in the NFCCG, he reached out and dm’d me if I wanted to setup an interview. I thought that was so cool that he really reached back out to set up the interview with me like he said he would. We did the interview, he was great, laid back, we talked ball, the chat was absolutely electric. My favorite interview I’ve ever done. I know BA has done a lot of extremely questionable things as of late but I genuinely miss this dude who just chopped it up with me on stream for over an hour and was super generous with his time.

Sam Altman on GPT 5: "This morning I was testing our new model and I got a question. I got emailed a question that I didn't quite understand. And I put it in the model, this is GPT-5, and it answered it perfectly. And I really kind of sat back in my chair and I was just like, oh man, here it is moment... I felt like useless relative to the AI in this thing that I felt like I should have been able to do and I couldn't. It was really hard. But the AI just did it like that. It was a weird feeling."

Arnold Schwarzenegger reveals he tried to change the iconic “I’ll be back” line because he thought it sounded weak “I very casually said Jim, I said I would just rather say I will be back, and I thought this was gonna go right by and he would say whatever you want.” “And he says I like it, I’ll be back, and I said no, a machine will not abbreviate, plus it sounds really weird when I said I’ll, it sounds weak, I said why don’t we say I will be back” “He says no no no just say I’ll be back, I said it’s better I will be back, and he says what does the goddamn script say, cause you’re being a pain, and I said the script says I’ll be back, and he says then say the fucking line, I don’t correct your acting so don’t correct my fucking writing, what’s the matter with you Arnold” “And he is so right, because there’s a reason why he wrote it this way, he maybe knew it’s going to be one of those powerful lines, I didn’t know, I didn’t see anything in it, who would know that” “I was amazed when we had the screening of the movie and then kids came up to me and said say the line I’ll be back, and I said I’ll be back, and they said no no no, the way you said it in the movie, so I said I’ll be back, yeah that’s the way, so then we knew that we had a big line here”

Toni Collette had told her agent that she didn't want to do any more heavy, dark films and only wanted to do comedies, but she liked the "Hereditary" (2018) script so much she couldn't turn it down. Here is Toni Collette stating the above: "I was not looking to do a film like this. I had specifically said, “I’m sick of heavy, I don’t want to cry all the time at work anymore. I want to make some funny movies.” My agent called and said, “I know what you said, but you need to read this.” And he was right. I loved it. I mean, I don’t know if “love” is the right word—it was more of a knowledge that I had to do it. It was so brilliantly written, so original. All actors really want is an opportunity to go for it, and I was given that opportunity in spades." (Toni Collette's interview with Eliza Berman, Time, 2018)

Gary Oldman's "EVERYONE!!" scream in Léon: The Professional is so iconic people yell it at him in the street. Turns out it started as a joke between him and Luc Besson. He explains: “What's strange is that it's become this sort of iconic line, and it was all done as a joke. And that was the thing, I played the scene…. And I had a relationship with Luc. Luc Besson was kind of mad in a way — I mean, we were shooting on film. He would say to me, "OK, do the scene again, but now do it as Robert De Niro." Or do it as... And he would shoot it for kicks, and his archive. So we had a fun kind of relationship… I said to Luke, "I just want to do one more, let me do one more." And I went to the sound guy and I said, "I'm going to be really loud, so be careful." And said “bring me everyone" — you know, EVERYONE like that. I just did it as a joke to make Luc laugh. I was a little shocked when I saw it in the film, yeah. It was just me fooling around — with intensity, with feeling — and yet it's become this line now.”

Josh Homme discussed the potential for reunions with Them Crooked Vultures and Kyuss in a new interview with CONSEQUENCE: On Them Crooked Vultures: "I'd love to do that again. And I know Jonesy would too, and I know Dave would too. I'm gonna put all the responsibility on Dave. It's not my job to put us together; that's Dave's job." On Kyuss: "I always had this thing: no reunions, no sequels. And you've gotta remember, that band started when I was 13 years old, and so I have such beautiful memories of just being kids and growing up through that. By the same token, sometimes if someone said, 'Do you want to rekindle this thing that happened when you were 15?' you might be like, 'Oh, jeez,' you know? "It's just a tricky thing, because I love that the fans have taken over the legacy of Kyuss, and that's so rare and cool, you know? I just don't want to mess it up. I don't know. Would it be better to do that? I just don't know. I guess I'm just sort of perpetually on the fence about it. I just don't want to mess it up somehow."

I experienced homophobia in Norway. It was so awful and it really opened my eyes that we’re not there yet, not everybody has no judgement. I think it was really horrible to see it with my own eyes but I got to experience it and it’s not nice to be called a fucking faggot💢

This is what he said: Nigerians, it was never my int£ntion to be dr@gg£d like this over my interview with the former president. The way I interview people is just my content style; you shouldn't take it too seri@usly. No matter who comes on my show, I address them the same way. Please, I want y'all to calm down and understand that I have imm£nse respect for the former president. He is like a father to me. I never meant to act the way I did during the interview. It was only for att£ntion, but I never imagined it would lead to the entire country dr@gg!ng me.
