Joe Biden tapped Kamala Harris to implement a $42 BILLION program to close the digital divide and bring high-speed internet to every home in America. Kamala hasn’t connected one new household to the internet, and about 257,000 homes and businesses in Georgia are still disconnected. Does Kamala really think... show more

.@RepMTG Why do you keep lying on the floor of Congress? Yes, Vice President Harris is working to close the digital divide, but the $42.45 billion BEAD program is still in the planning phase. Expecting instant results from a massive project like this is absurd, it requires detailed planning and coordination with states before it can even begin. Greene claims no households have been connected, but that’s flat-out wrong. The Affordable Connectivity Program has already helped over 16 million households lower their internet bills, and other infrastructure projects are actively expanding broadband access. Greene’s figure of 257,000 unconnected addresses in Georgia is outdated. The 2023 Georgia Broadband Map shows a significant reduction to 204,968 unserved addresses. Progress is being made, even if she refuses to acknowledge it. It’s ridiculous to blame Vice President Harris for the initial stages of a huge federal program, as if she’s personally responsible for immediate results. These initiatives require coordination across federal, state, and local levels and naturally take time to implement. Name one thing you've done for GA? Just one! November can't come soon enough. Thirty-four states have had their funding approved, and numerous projects will be fully underway starting in 2025. Given that this program was passed in 2021 and has a 10-year road map, having many projects ready to kick off in 2025, 4 years in, isn't any form of catastrophe. Georgia is one of the 16 states still waiting for approval for its proposal to receive the money. Maybe you can talk with the people in your state who wrote the proposal and ask them why theirs is lagging behind so many others. Was Georgia one of the states that wanted to avoid the affordability requirements written in to ensure these companies aren't getting vast sums of money to build this infrastructure only to leave the internet service costs out of reach for millions of Americans? Georgia also has one of the highest funding allocations at $1.3 billion. Instead of complaining, how about working to get things done for your constituents for a change?

You are non stop FOS Bleach Blond Butch

Not watching lies. The money has been appropriated but not spent. If you lawmakers could actually come together and allow it to happen, it can. It also said by the end of the decade. You also know that construction for all of this starts next year or early 2026. Stop omitting crucial details.

@RepMTG, one of the few that make us proud. May she stand tall for America for years to come.

Put on the table what you have done for Americans, Marge.

So where is the money then?

Marge is such a disgusting person. @ShawnForGeorgia will take betty care of his constituents. Shame on MTG for allowing this to happen.
