Joe Burrow was really good on Sunday 🤷

Oh god I missed that one to Chase in the first half.

Its been one of the toughest things to deal with this week. How do I explain to people that he was maybe the best player on the field for either team when they're just going to not listen and say "1 touchdown 2 picks" 🥲

Minus the interceptions, yes, Burrow looked like he was in the process of strapping on his cape and ascending into his final form. I think he's nearly there.

Just make the 5% of the time he hasn’t been spectacular not so back breaking & he’d have a legitimate argument for playing the best ball of ant QB across the league.

Odd - it didn’t feel that way from in the stadium on Sunday. Was shocked when I saw his final stats. Every play/drive felt hard and it felt like his performance was the reason we lost. Need to watch the game still on TV - crazy how different it is

I’ve seen him in Herbert talks this week which is just completely insane. The INT’s were obviously true WTF moments but some of the talk otherwise is crazy.

I think were gonna be alright. He made a few uncharacteristically dumb decisions on Sunday but the dude is still just as elite as ever.

Making the throws he gets paid to make, and making 2 mistakes is not a good Sunday. Red zone ints on first down are not excusable

Unfortunately I don’t think the Bengals benefit with lollipop plays to get easy yards or make it easy on the QB. Which is what makes Burrow even better imo. He’s dependent on precision and anticipation more than anyone else, and he still performs.

He threw 54 passes I would hope so

Love this. I think if you taped his game (aside from the picks) vs the Jags and uploaded it in 2/3 years time the general consensus would be that he had a 9/10 game. Some of the pressure evasions, improvisations and throws are insane. Crazy thing is this is September Joe too

@LanceMcAlister I don’t think good is an accurate description… multiple turnovers, lost the game. I might agree with he wasn’t the entire reason we lost, but he certainly was one of the reasons.
