"A base runner hit by a thrown ball is guilty of interference only if the runner intentionally touches the ball, or otherwise alters or deflects the course of the thrown ball." The throw hit HIM, he didn't alter the ball. NOT illegal. Freddie said himself he'd do the same thing

Which I think a lot of teams are going to do.” Notes “we were trying to run the ball, bleed clock, keep the lead.” Conservative play calling (running the ball) was because of the eventual CJ Stroud treatment Davis Mills got (2 high shells, suspected this would happen), because we had a lead and wanted to drain clock & I suspect because you don’t want your backup qb to lose you the game and take too many risks. I don’t hate the approach in 2nd half given the above and it basically being what the defense gave you. You just HAVE to be able to run the ball vs 2 high, ESPECIALLY to close a game out vs one of the worst run defenses in the league.

I have 2 hands on the ball, playing safe and slow. this cant happen. and us ball handlers need a way to actively protect the ball both while in a live dribble and while in the triple threat. Meta defense on 2s is reach on somebody off inbound and pray for the fluke. it cant be like this. its been a headache today... #NBA2K26

Here are all the scores of Jordan's 69pt game and notes on each score. The "Jordan can't go left" is a HUGE myth as MJ went meaningfully left more than TWICE as much as going meaningfully right. Hardly any true ISO scoring so that "illegal D made it easy for ISO" just doesn't apply here. He scored almost all his points on 0 to 2 dribbles. Breakdown of scoring: 30 successful scoring attempts of which 4 he dribbled the ball up the court. 🩵: my bucket list… bucket list again seungwan ah? 😆 but i have to talk abt it. a bucket list is meant to be fulfilled; going to italy n another thing is seeing the aurora. i haven't seen them yet. once i see those 2, my travel bucket list will probably grow even more, right? for now, i really hope to see those 2. my family actually went on a trip to see the aurora, ahh i'm so jealous. there are places that u can only see it if u're really lucky, or where the aurora appears very clearly. ahh i definitely want to go anywhere i can see it~ ☺️🫶

Went back to watch the double teams on KD and LeBron to see what the difference was. Key points: 1. Physicality and pressure really bother KD. He should NEVER bring up the ball. It’s much easier to double and get the ball out of his hands when he does. 2. KD is not a smart playmaker and doesn’t know how to hurt the defense when doubled. 3. Clearly some chemistry issues on the Rockets. Players are not on the same page and show bad body language. (Thank you to KD’s burner for talking crap about his teammates.) 4. LeBron was lightyears better when doubled because he is so used to being the main playmaker on his team. 5. LeBron was quick with his decision-making. 6. KD was very indecisive and held the ball too long, often leading to turnovers. 7. Ime Udoka needs to have someone else bring the ball up and needs to play Sheppard more for shooting. KD can kick it to Sheppard and hurt the defense, just like Bron was kicking it to Kennard for 3s all day. I ain’t crowning the Lakers the winners of this series just yet. Let’s see if the Rockets can make adjustments and get some home cooking 👍 Ps. I mixed up my “rights” and “lefts” a few times on this video. Didnt feel like remaking it 😂

So I went back and watched Kobe’s breakdown of what he wants to see from LeBron in the finals. Kobe AGREES with me: Bron needs to stop always driving all the way inside with a fake attack just to kick it out. He NEEDS to develop a 1-2 dribble pull-up on the elbow. When are you starting your load? —Most of the games best hitters start there load & get into a ready position to hit before the ball leaves the pitchers hand. —Starting your load when the pitchers hand breaks is a good cue to go off of. Every single pitcher has to do this to throw the ball. Once there hand breaks every pitchers time to plate is close in timing. Giving you a consistent time to start. —Being on time towards the opposite field gap or through the middle for fastball. Gives you a chance to do damage on both pitches. The FB & Off speed. When you get into your advantage counts & have earned your fastball. 2-0, 3-0, 3-1. You can now then shift your sights over towards the pull side gap. —Hope this helps some people! #PlayerDevelopment
