Joe Davis & Smoltz were wrong here! Runners have right to basepath when fielder doesn’t yet possess ball. As u can see, once Freeman fielded the ball, Machado went inside 2 the grass 2 interfere w/ Freeman’s throw to 2nd. Roberts needed 2 fight for this w/umps. Dodgers-Padres

Wrong. Stick to football.

Derek Jeter on FOX postgame, “I have NEVER seen that play without it being called interference!” Does he not know anything about baseball either 😂

"A base runner hit by a thrown ball is guilty of interference only if the runner intentionally touches the ball, or otherwise alters or deflects the course of the thrown ball." The throw hit HIM, he didn't alter the ball. NOT illegal. Freddie said himself he'd do the same thing

Hey! Did you read that with your Padre Goggles 😂😂😂! Derek Jeter on FOX post-game, “I have never seen that play without it being called interference.”

Umps got it right. It would only be interference if Machado reacted to an already thrown ball.

Embarrassing. You could just look up the rule ya know, but you are too lazy and too quick to share your wrong opinion.

Better to remain silent and thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt." - Maurice Switzer,

Freddie Freeman disagrees with you 😁

Wrong. Manny created the new line. Understand the rules my friend.
