Standard Lachmans test to determine ACL tests. If a doctor DIDN’T perform this test for a knee injury then he shouldn’t be a ringside doctor.

That's because Dr Joe Rogan, despite claiming he's "done the research", is not a medical doctor and should not be listened to for medical advice. Lachman test and Anterior drawer test are common tests for diagnosing injuries in the field

The Lachman/Draw Test is standard and fairly accurate. Was used to diagnose torn ACLs way before MRIs.

Rogan is correct. The doc isn't performing the examination correctly. I've seen med students do better Lachmans and drawers; also when examining a limb, you MUST compare it to the opposite side, especially when examining the ACL, since laxity varies quite a bit between people.
