The first 20-win team in #D2Baseball...North Greenville Baseball! They sit 9-3 in Conference Carolinas play after a sweep of Emmanuel and are on a tear offensively, per usual (hitting .330 as a team). Brett Blomquist is on a tear, speaking of, he's hitting .460! Six other qualified hitters are hitting above .320. Just a great offense that's tough to beat all around. The pitching staff has been solid, pitching to a 3.42 ERA. Bennett Roemer has been the lead behind the success, he has a 2.70 ERA on the season. #D2Baseball

Current Louisville baseball commit Tyler Fryman was on his official visit to Kentucky football over the weekend. 👀😼 The 4-star WR has been a major target for Will Stein and his staff, who have been working to flip him for quite some time. Will Kentucky be able to pull it off? 🤔 #BBN

Another fully padded practice for Odell Beckham Jr. at Giants camp, by the way. No physical drop-off despite seemingly taking every snap he has been given. Doesn’t appear to be any fewer than the rest of WR fighting for a spot on the team.

Amazing night at BOA. Official attendance was 82,193 and $24,513,185 raised to help those impacted by Hurricane Helene in Asheville and Western N.C. Country music star Luke Combs put this all together. He’s been hard on the Panthers this season but he spoke with great gratitude for all owner David Tepper did in providing the stadium, staff, parking and so much more free of charge to make the event possible.

Former Alabama shortstop Jim Jarvis continues to prove why he belongs in the big leagues. Tonight was a prime example of why. In his first start after the MLB All-Star break, Jarvis finished 2/5 with an RBI and 2 runs scored. Since joining the Braves at the beginning of July, Jarvis has made seven starts. During that time, he has amassed a .320 batting average with a home run and 3 RBIs. What are your thoughts on Jarvis’ play since being called up to ‘The Show?’

Former paratrooper Matt Styler, 50, has been found not guilty of assaulting the police by Judge William Mousley KC at Southampton Crown Court. Ex-soldier Matt was violently attacked and arrested by officers from Hampshire Constabulary at a Henry Nowak protest on the 2nd of June for no clear reason. Matt was then held in custody for 15 days before being bailed. In court the CPS stated that the the evidential test had not been met in the case, and the prosecution was therefore offering no evidence against the defendant, leading to a not guilty verdict. We wish Matt all the best and hope he sues Hampshire Constabulary for everything.

The recent unprecedented weather event in the UAE and the operational disruptions it caused at #DXB have been a great challenge for us all, but it has been the most challenging for our guests who’ve had to spend much longer than they expected at our terminals. To bring some comfort to them during this time, our team of ground staff and volunteers has worked tirelessly around the clock to deliver more than 73,000 packs of snacks and water. We understand the frustration and distress that the past few days have caused many travellers, and we thank you all for your patience and understanding as our operations recover. Please know that your welfare is, and will always continue to be, our number one priority.

This evening, Israeli residents set fire twice to the perimeter of the UNRWA Headquarters in occupied East Jerusalem. This took place while UNRWA and other UN Agencies’ staff were on the compound. While there were no casualties among our staff, the fire caused extensive damage to the outdoor areas. The UNRWA headquarters has on its grounds a petrol and diesel station for the Agency’s fleet of cars. Our director with the help of other staff had to put out the fire themselves as it took the Israeli fire extinguishers and police a while before they turned up. A crowd accompanied by armed men were witnessed outside the compound chanting “Burn down the United Nations” (see video below 👇 from Israeli media). This is an outrageous development. Once again, the lives of UN staff were at a serious risk. In light of this second appalling incident in less than a week, I have taken the decision to close down our coumpound until proper security is restored. Over the past two months, Israeli extremists have been staging protests outside the UNRWA compound in Jerusalem, called by an elected member of the Jerusalem municipality. This week, the protest became violent when demonstrators threw stones at UN staff and at the buildings of the compound. Over the past months, UN staff have regularly been subjected to harassment and intimidation. Our compound has been seriously vandalized and damaged. On several occasions, Israeli extremists threatened our staff with guns. It is the responsibility of the State of Israel as an occupying power to ensure that United Nations personnel and facilities are protected at all times. UN staff, premises and operations should be protected at all times in line with international law. I call on all those who have influence to put an end to these attacks and hold all those responsible accountable. The perpetrators of these attacks must be investigated and those responsible must be held accountable. Anything less will set a new dangerous standard.

On July 4 2025, the Deputy Chief of Army Staff Lt. Gen Rahul Singh had revealed the very disturbingly deep nature of the Pakistan-China jugalbandi during Operation Sindoor. On Aug 25, 2026, the former Chief of Defence Staff Gen. Anil Chauhan made his own revelations on this jugalbandi - which are simply opposite to what Lt. Gen Singh had said. The nation is confused. What is going on here? Is there some deeper plan to change the narrative? Is this part of the calibrated capitulation to China on the part of the Modi Govt that has been in clear evidence for a long while since the PM's infamous clean chit to China on June 2020 and the record trade deficits with China that his Government has presided over? The nation needs to know.

🔴 We are thrilled by the great interest Zimbabweans have shown in our trains over the past few days. The train to traverse between Harare and Mutare during the Sanganai/Hlanganani/Kumbanai Tourism Expo has the following category of coaches: 1. Diners with fitted seats and tables 2. Sleeper coaches with beds for those that love to relax and enjoy the trip in serenity. 3. A single dance coach (whose picture has been trending recently) for people to mix and mingle over a drink. It also comes with a full bar and catering, WiFi and clean restrooms as shown in the short picture slide show accompanying this post

Steven played 113 regular-season games for Boston before joining the Minnesota Wild ahead of the 2012 trade deadline. He remained with the Wild franchise until 2014, signing with the New York Rangers in July before ultimately joining the Florida Panthers for the 2014-15 season. After his time in Florida and a return to New York, Steven rejoined the Bruins from 2018-21. His final professional seasons were split between the KHL and AHL, and wrapped up with Chelyabinsk this past season.
