Breathalyzer tests are claimed to be alcohol specific yet ZERO Alcohol Beer has been proved to test positive in court that do not contain Alcohol. This is not a "false positive" this is a falsification of the specificity of the test and is the same as PCR.

Obama and Clinton didn't just threaten to bomb civilian infrastructure; they actually did it. We should hold Trump's actions to the same standard as we hold them. But we should also hold his words to a high standard, even though words matter less than action. Saying a whole civilization will die will be reasonably interpreted as threatening civilians, a standard that America should never even be perceived as falling to. Not even as a negotiating tactic. This is true even though the Islamic Republic, which is evil, has no standard at all. Trump deserves credit for just negotiating a cease fire, and that's the most important outcome here: that the killing stops. Even as we celebrate the ends, we should still scrutinize the means.

When a child reaches for a drink, safety should be obvious, not buried in the fine print. Yet today, beverages containing alcohol or THC can look strikingly similar to water, non alcoholic seltzer, and energy drinks, forcing parents and consumers to study the label just to know what they are holding. That is why I am introducing the Safe Sips Act, federal legislation requiring a uniform color on the tops of cans and bottles containing intoxicating substances like alcohol or THC. A simple visual standard can prevent a dangerous mistake before it happens. Parents deserve clarity. Kids deserve protection. And neither should have to come from reading the fine print.

How Does Alcohol Affect Your Health? A new study (PMID: 38289182) examined the effect of alcohol consumption on health & this study attempted to correct some of the issues with earlier studies. Many studies include ‘false abstainers’ which are people who do not currently drink alcohol, but used to drink a lot. In these studies, it’s common to see that light to moderate drinking appears to have a protective effect on health, but this may be because people who drink ‘no alcohol’ in these studies, many of them used to be heavy drinkers who now abstain & thus they may have underlying health issues from their previous drinking. This study attempted to isolate out TRUE abstainers from alcohol consumption as controls to compare to light/moderate/heavy drinking The takehome of this study was that low amounts of alcohol are not protective, but they also do not appear to be very detrimental either. When we say low, that was defined as between 1 drink per week & 2 drinks per day. Intakes of alcohol above this showed linear increases in mortality risk The take home is we know alcohol is not great for you. At low intakes the risk is probably pretty small, but you probably should minimize drinking as much as possible if you’d like to reduce your risk of mortality

In a joint operation with the Environment Department, the Liquor Licensing Board, and the National Police, we took decisive action and noted that several establishments were playing loud music, operating without valid licenses, and selling counterfeit alcohol. We arrested the owners and managers, confiscated exhibits to be used as evidence in court, and closed down all the offending establishments. Nairobi County Government remains firm and committed to ensuring a safe, clean, and healthy environment for all residents. We will not relent in the fight against illegal businesses and noise pollution until every corner of our city is safe for all.
